Monster Bar - Göttingen — Restaurant in Göttingen

A fairly normal café by day and a heavy metal bar by night. Situated close to the train station and most of the bigger hotels. They have a rotating art collection on the walls, every other month something new is put up making the atmosphere and interior a bit more interesting for regulars. For me personally the best thing to come for is the beer though. Currently Monster Cafe is one of the few bars in Göttingen that sell craft beer, so it's definitely worth going...

Good place for coffee, cocktails, craft beer and crêpe (all things beginning with "c"). Also a good base to start a night out: you can bring in your own food from any of the shops on Goetheallee and have a nice beer there to go with your dinner. Caution: They do play metal. And they do...
