Sen Viet Cuisine Bistro — Restaurant in Göttingen

The staff are very insolent and terrible racists. I went with a friend to the restaurant today, being the 14th of December 2024, and a woman rudely and sternly asked us to sit at a particular table. We politely asked if we could sit at the table beside the window and she angrily replied saying “No”, still rudely, and forced us to sit at the table she had earlier pointed to us. The woman did not ask us if we made any reservations for a table or not. Shortly after, two ladies walked in, and she let them sit at the table beside the window, without even asking them if they have made any reservations for a particular table online. She did not direct them to any table, but just allowed them to go wherever they wished. Another set of people walked in and she never directed them to any table. I asked one of the waiters why the woman was rude to us, and he said “well, she is the boss here”, acknowledging that the boss can treat any customer however she feels. The staff are very racist and treat customers just anyhow they want to. They have no standard rules in being respectful to customers and it’s really bad for a business to be run with such recklessness...

Visit here for a Sunday dinner for my short trip to Göttingen. We ordered the spring roll other roll with pork along with a chicken and a beef pho. First of all their service was TERRIBLE, if you don’t speak their language, the waitress seems very annoyed, second, the pho are HORRIBLE, they tasted like boil water with noodles in it. Spring rolls are over-cooked. My friend has to add a lot of soy sauce in order to have some flavor. I strongly not recommend this place.

At the end, the waitress forced to add tip on the check, that really made me angry!

-- to the owner: I recommend that if your customer doesn't speak your language, then simply don't add the service charge on the bill. And as a first time visitor, we don't want any trouble while traveling to other country especially we thought the service charge is a "must". Anyhow, unfortunately first impression is the key as for customer service.

I really liked this restaurant but, the staff there is extremely rude. Especially, the man with the spectacles. I like eating Sambal olek with the food and one came to me to tell that it is very expensive so I begun taking less. One day I ordered spring rolls and the Chilli paste they had on table was super dry so I took a little and mixed it with the vinegar dip they have me with the rolls and to my shock when the man came to take bill he stated yelling at me in front of all the guests even though I had taken less than half a teaspoon of it. I still stayed polite and apologized to him to which he didn’t respond. In my whole life I have never came across such a rude restaurant staff. In gastronomy guests are considered god but, this restaurant was an exception. They do not know how to be courteous to...
