Kebab & Smash — Restaurant in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

I recently visited this place and tried their Original Berliner Döner Kebab, and I must say—it was one of the best döner experiences I’ve had in a long time!

The meat (Kalbfleisch/veal) was perfectly grilled, juicy, and flavorful. The bread was fresh and crispy, and the vegetables inside were crunchy and fresh. What really made it stand out was the amazing variety of sauces—I went for the Knoblauch (garlic) and Kräuter (herb) sauces, and they complemented the döner perfectly.

The portion size was generous, especially for the price (€8.50), and everything was presented well. You can tell they care about both the quality and the taste.

The menu is also quite versatile—whether you’re a meat lover or vegetarian, there’s something for everyone. Next time I’m definitely trying the Falafel Teller or the Pomm Döner!

We ate here for lunch 3 days in a row. Yes, the Döners are that good.

I’ve eaten Döner all over Europe and this place rates near the top of my list. Amazing bread on the Döner and super fresh vegetables and sauces. It is worth coming here just for the Döner on that fantastic bread. We also tried a Falafel Kebab and a Dürum Kebab, both of which were great as well.

But the huge surprise was the smash burger. Just order the Standard Smash. It is a perfect burger with the ideal meat to bun ratio, and it only comes with cheese, onions, pickles, and sauce. It needs nothing else. After you take one bite you will probably want to walk back to the counter and order more burgers!

We didn’t get the fries (yet), but they looked amazing too. So we might need to go back for a fourth and final time before leaving to fly back home tomorrow.
