I have very mixed feelings about this place. Be prepared for this kind of treatment: we approached the waitress and asked in English where we could sit for a group of four. She offered us a table outside with two chairs after a heavy rain. The table was small, wet, and water was dripping from the umbrella right onto our heads. I asked if we could sit inside (we had sat inside a couple of days earlier), and she bluntly told me: you cannot. We waited for another waitress and were seated inside, where only a few tables were occupied, and there was plenty of space. I don’t know on what basis the waitstaff decide who can sit inside and who cannot, but I have never encountered such treatment in Europe before, and I was simply shocked. The schnitzel is impressive in size but tasteless without cranberry sauce. The baked potatoes with bacon are really delicious. The owner of the restaurant shifts the responsibility for customer orientation onto the clients, rather than himself and his staff. It turns out that it's my fault for not causing a fuss about why I wasn't allowed to sit in the restaurant, rather than the staff's fault for not being able to...

Being a vegan it’s not easy, we get that feeling sometimes, that we should say “thank you” for having hardly any options. I hate that feeling. But we certainly got that feeling today. We sat down for a drink and a meal (after a long walk), and ordered rice with stirred vegetables (that cost us 15 Euro each). We know how sometimes they over-charge us for no reason but the ‘Vegan’ sign. We got a disgraceful dish. Rice that was over-cooked, boiled vegetables, no taste. We should stop saying ‘thanks’ and shut up every time we feel a burden on the restaurant owners. Here we are speaking out! Maybe this is how...

Oh my goodness. The food was sooooo good. I enjoyed every dish and so did everyone in our party and our waitress was great. I don’t write reviews for restaurants very often, but I enjoyed the food so much that I felt inclined to do this before I even paid for our dinner. I got the schnitzel. It was the best schnitzel I have had. It was tender and easy to cut with a butter knife. The roasted potatoes with bacon were TO DIE FOR. I would have eaten a whole plate by themselves. If you are ever in Garmisch-Partenkirchen area,...

I had no reservation, but walked in on a busy evening. They were so kind and arranged an table for two. This was a special touch to the evening. The people were so kind and friendly. The complementary starter was amazing- 5/5 The main course - schnitzel with baked potatoes and beacon is delicious (5/5), the pesto spaghetti is a OKAY 3.5/5 The Apple strudel is a 4/5 Overall experience was amazing with the perfect service.

My family and I ate here today and had a lovely experience. The food was delicious, in HUGE portions, well timed, and a great value for the money. Our waitress was very kind and attentive even though she was working many busy tables - I even heard her spending some extra time with an elderly couple to make sure they understood everything and made a few jokes with them. I would definitely return here.
