From the moment we arrived at Burgrestaurant, it was clear this was more than just a meal—it was an experience. Nestled high above the vineyards with sweeping panoramic views of the Rheingau, the setting alone captivates. But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the artistry of Chef Christophe, whose passion and precision radiate through every plate.

Each dish was a masterclass in flavor balance and elegant presentation. The menu showcased ingredients elevated to fine-dining perfection—every bite thoughtfully constructed and deeply satisfying. Alles in allem überteuert und dem Preis nicht angemessen. Das Essen war zwar sehr gut aber leider überzeugt für den Preis das Gesamtpaket nicht... Wir haben dort einen Geburtstag gefeiert und es auch so angemeldet und auch vor Ort erwähnt. Darauf wurde beim Personal nicht eingegangen. Als wir fragten warum der Nachbartisch so schön geschmückt wurde, wurde gesagt für einen Geburtstag, dass wir auch einen feiern war anscheinend egal. Als wir am Ende des Besuchs gefragt haben, warum bei uns der Geburtstag nicht berücksichtigt wurde, wurde nur gesagt: Ah stimmt Sie hatten das so angemeldet, den Sekt hätte es umsonst geben müssen. Dann noch eine Entschuldigung und das war es leider. Bei so einem teuren Essen hätte man einfach irgendwas erwartet. Zum Kaffee gab es zudem einepackte Kekse von jj.darboven. Auch nicht angemessen.

Alles in allem eher enttäuschend besonders wenn das Geburtstagskind am Ende sagt, dass mehr erwartet wurde für die Anreise (2h) und...

Food was quite good but nothing to rave about. Service was fine but could be a bit more attentive and warm? Also, when asked to change the table after starters to a better one, it was kind of a big deal a bit…Of course you come here for the view. PS don’t mix up with nearby...
