Restaurant Aurela — Restaurant in Grainau

The food is really good. Not much choice, but decent meals. The service disappoints - I went here twice, once waiter ignored me completely to the point where I had to wait endlessly by the counter to pay for my meal, second time around I was asked to sit like a normal person (I'm autistic, I have certain habits that are important for me, which never bother anyone... apart from the waiter it seems). The place is nice, with a nice view and decor, but the music is terrible and way too loud. All in all, a good place to eat, but there are better ones. Might try to get take away from...

We went to dine here in April. No skiing, and hikingweather wasn't great so: low season. Our last night in Grainau was in rhis restaurant and we had a blast. Our 13 month old daughter was hyped up, but after a great dinner she was treated great by the lady who waited our table. Lucky for us there were only two other people so our terror-toddler had plenty of room to explore, and the host let her do so gracously.

Long stort short, perfect ending to a vacation. Awesome food, awesome service, nice ambiance.

Best Hirsch goulash I’ve ever had. Portions were so big I could barely finish it. The lava cake was incredible and very well presented. 10/10 would come here again. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a little hard to find, it could use a larger...
