Café Chrysander is located in one of the most picturesque corners of Bergedorf, just a few steps from Schloss Bergedorf, Hamburg’s only preserved medieval castle. Nearby stands a striking stone monument engraved with “Ihren großen Nachbarn” (“To their great neighbors”) and the word “Trinitia”, adding a sense of memory and community to the park’s atmosphere.

The castle park (Schlosspark) surrounding the café is peaceful and green, with mature trees and quiet paths — perfect for a walk or a break on a sunny day.

Ich möchte mich für dieses schöne Ambiente bedanken. Dieses Café hat ein gewisses Flair, dass mir/uns sehr gefallen hat.

Wir waren heute zum Frühstücksbuffet (13,90 € pro Person) dort und waren einfach nur enttäuscht. Die Brötchen mussten vom Vortag gewesen sein. Dieser leckere Knusper eines frischen Brötchens war komplett weg und waren einfach nur pappig im Mund. Auch, dass ggf. jeder Gast ein Crossant im Rahmen des Buffets essen kann, war nicht drinnen.

Die Auswahl ist sehr dezent, es gib einige Käsesorten, die nicht lecker waren und Salami, Schinken usw. diese waren ok.

Der Weichkäse mit Weißschimmel schmeckte sehr billig.

Am Ende hat uns die Auswahl nicht überzeugt und haben Rühreier bestellt, wofür wir natürlich extra Zahlen mussten. Es handelt sich hierbei wohl um keine komplizierte Bestellung. Wir bekamen drei mal Omlette, welches wohl kaum noch mehr Salz hätte haben können. Wir hätten auch direkt am Salzstreuer lecken können und der Geschmack wäre wohl gleich wie mit dem Omlette.

Das einzige gute am Essen war der Tee.

Für drei Personen haben wir knapp 65€ fürs Frühstücken bezahlt. Dort wird uns zum Glück sowas nie wieder passieren, da wir dieses Café meiden werden und absolut nicht weiterempfehlen können.

Wenn man das WC besucht, stinkt es da so sehr, dass einem sowieso der Hunger vergeht. Ekelhafter Geruch!
