Copenhagen Coffee Lab - Bahrenfelder — Restaurant in Hamburg

I am not a conventional fan of batch brew. I like to see the whole coffee pouring ritual. As such I was already negatively biased when I was told that Batch brew was the only pour over option.

Yet when I tasted their Ethiopia, all of my skepticism was violently blown away by the delicious explosion of a bouquet of roses in my mouth.

With a perfectly smooth body and a tinge of acidity - just enough to bring the sweetness into focus- their batch brew really wowed me. Looking forward to...

We have always had a very pleasant experience here, with lovely sweet treats and great coffee. Their toasted sandwiches are huge and come with a side salad. I also love their chai latte. Their Ottensen cafe has a wondeful back room, with comfy chairs and bench seating, lots of natural light and free WiFi, that looks out to the their terrace. A little oasis in the middle of busy Ottensen. Shady and under umbrellas, perfect on a hot day too. Highly recommend. Busy...

It used to be so much better here. My usual cafe was already closed at 4pm on Saturday so I went here for a flat white. It costs €4.10 and this is the liquid delicious you get... Also, many four-person tables are occupied by customers with laptops. There was only one staff member serving and preparing the coffee, so customers who were queueing just gave up. Next time I would simply go somewhere else. TL;DR the flat white leaves you and your wallet...
