OMG, DON'T EAT HERE!!!

I arrived & asked for my reserved party that stated they were in the garden.... Waiter very rudely said ( in German) I don't know & walked away. Didn't point me towards the garden, just walked away.

I found my party, greeted everyone & sat dowm. No Joke, the waitress...who is appreatantly is the Owner, showed zp 30mins later to take our FOOD order. I ordered a Apero spritz & had to chase her down again to enquire about it. Mind you, she walked by our table SEVERAL times, I & others said "Excuse me" and she keep walking, ignoring us...as we became louder & louder when she didn't respond. She NEVER looked us in the eye nor made contact as she walked by for the nxt 10-15mins. FINALLY, my friend on the end of the table cornered her as she walked by again, ignoring us once more.

None of the staff make eye contact with you nor do the say Thank you or Sorry!

The Lachs cappriccia was tasteless which means its " Cheap" Lachs. The Shrimp cappillini was also tasteless with FULL clovers of garlic. I don't know ANY chef that puts an entire clove of garlic in anything to season it without cutting the clove. I had to ADD salt to pasta. In an Italian restaurant!!! It was cooked in water(H2o) no salt, no oil.

The BEST part of ALL!! The place was relatively EMPTY. NO one seating inside ans only a few tables in the garten.

There are SO many GREAT ITALIAN restaurants in Hamburg.

Ein Stern ist schon zu viel, aber 0 geht leider nicht. Mein Essen, Bandnudeln mit Rinderfiletspitzen, war eine Katastrophe! Das Filet war überwiegend zäh, die Nudeln trieften vor Fett und alles ohne Geschmack ... Ich hatte bereits während des Essens Bescheid gesagt. Über die Hälfte des Essens habe ich dann zurückgehen lassen. Auf unserer Rechnung stand dann der komplette Preis. Ich habe dann noch einmal gesagt, dass das Essen nicht gut war und ich es nicht korrekt finde, dafür den kompletten Preis zu berechnen. Anstatt auf mich als Gast einzugehen, wurde mir vom Chef, oder wer es auch immer war, gesagt, es hätte sich noch nie jemand beschwert und er hätte das Fleisch selbst eingekauft. Ich hätte mich auch schon mal beschwert, er kenne mich und ich bräuchte auch nicht wiederkommen. So etwas Unverschämtes und Freches habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Weitere Details erspare ich mir an dieser Stelle, denn die Auseinandersetzung ging noch weiter. Fakt ist, dass ich mich dort noch nie beschwert habe und diesen Mann überhaupt nicht kannte. Wir haben dann auf den Cent genau bezahlt und sind gegangen. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder, denn so eine Behandlung haben wir als Gäste nicht nötig. Mit dem alten La Piazzetta hat dieses definitiv nichts zu tun. Das sind zwei unterschiedliche Welten. Offensichtlich legt man hier auf gute Gäste keinen Wert!!

Nachtrag: Ob Rinderfilet- oder Rinderspitzen ist wohl nicht relevant. Fakt ist, dass das Fleisch sehr zäh war. Ich habe ein neues Essen verneint, weil mir der Appetit vergangen war und nicht, weil das Essen o.k. war. Ich habe hier keine Bewertung gelöscht, es gab hier von mir noch keine für Ihr Restaurant. Wäre dem so, hätte ich Ihr Restaurant mit Sicherheit nicht wieder besucht. Bis zum gestrigen Abend war ich immer zufrieden. Offensichtlich verwechseln Sie mich. Ich finde es auf jeden Fall sehr schade, dass Sie mit Kritik nicht umgehen können und ich als Gast derart angegangen wurde, dass ich das Gespräch abgebrochen habe. Uns und ein paar andere Gäste haben Sie mit Ihrer Aktion auf jeden Fall verloren.

Nachtrag: Ich habe es Ihrer Bedienung sofort gesagt, dafür gibt es Zeugen. Außerdem ist mein Gericht fast komplett zurückgegangen...Und jetzt werde ich nicht mehr auf Sie eingehen. Dafür ist mir meine Zeit zu kostbar. Finde es aber toll, wie nett Sie heute sind, aber leider trotzdem die...

I was here two times and both times I had a good time.

Last time I had the pizza with Gorgonzola and pear, and I am pretty sure I had the same the penultimate time.

The pizzas are big and filling and the salads are also big.

The penultimate time I also had the strawberry dessert with mascarpone and it was very tasty.

Last time I wanted to have some dessert but in the end it turned out that a salad and a pizza was simply too much for me.

Great place and I would definitely be returning if I am...
