Cool, laid back bar. Hip and at the same down to earth atmosphere with many small rooms and niches to chill. Open on Christmas days, which was was nice! The service at the bar is top and the people are chill. Classic Schanzen vibe, without being annoyingly urbanized or too expensive.

Kein Platz für Nazis und anderes queerphobes Pack, stattdessen immer eine schöne Ecke für entspannte Bierchen mit alten und neuen Freunden.

Immer schon ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich gepflegt zu betrinken, und das zu zivilen Preisen! In Covid-Zeiten ebenfalls, der Wirt achtet penibel darauf, dass sich die Gäste registrieren, benutzte Stifte werden vorm Wiederbenutzen desinfiziert, das Hygienekonzept hat Hand und Fuß. Jahrzehntelanges professionelles betreutes Trinken, und einen guten Kaffee gibt es auch noch, mehr kann man nicht verlangen.

The moment I set foot in Mutter, I knew I had struck arse gold. The bartender, a literal walking corpse, memorised my rather lengthy order, waved my travel companions and I to a bacteria laced table, shortly before chasing a patron out onto the street for reasons. Drinking felt like no less than a lifeline in this stylishly filthy bar and I love lifelines, so my companions and I got to it immediately. Except for our designated driver of course, who found himself a corner seat intensely questioning his life decisions. The beers were reasonably priced, the drinks were surprisingly not awful, and it was dark enough for other substances not endorsed by google reviews. I left Mutter bar in a condition I can only describe as an ecological crisis and passing by a pharmacy on the way back to the hotel was such a profound moment that I rate...

Beste Bar in der Schanze? Ganz klar die Mutter! Nicht nur, dass es verschiedene Räume gibt für dich und deine Freundinnen und Freunde, Nein, auch das Barpersonal ist super! Die Preise sind absolut hervorragend für die Lage und die Musik lädt zum langen Verweilen ein. Zudem ist die Auswahl an Getränken größer als bei manch anderen Bars! Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Negative Kommentare kann ich bei bestem Willen nicht verstehen. Da wurde der Aufenthalt letztes Wochenende wahrscheinlich mit den Räumlichkeiten der Lerchenwache schräg gegenüber verwechselt.
