Nice and very busy winebar just on the corner of the street.

Waiters spoke perfectly English and they communicated very nice and fluent to us, along with some jokes.

We did not eat here so cannot judge on that, the food looked fine.

We drank a few bottles of wine, there is a big wine collection where most of them you can drink by the glass.

The wine choices are divided in 3 price categories; 0.1l, 0.2l and full bottle of 0.75l Prices of a normal 0.2 glass are very very expensive, the cheapest around 7 euros per glass. I am fine if the price of the bottle is also in line with the price but this was definitely not the case.

We are not the biggest wine experts so we just ordered on good luck a bottle of 30 euros. The taste was very good, as well the service but when checking the price of the bottle, it was 4,5 euros.

In my opinion very misleading prices and kind of a scam tricking so...

The restaurant was very nice and the service so friendly. The food was delicious and they had a fabulous selections of wines and spirits. We ordered the schnitzel and prawns. Although a bit if a heavier meals, schnitzel and potatoes were complemented with cucumber and yogurt salad. The jam also had a good sweet contrast to each bite. The prawns where cooked in a broth that was filled with herbs and vegetables. Combine it with the buttered bread and each bite was very satisfying.

Lovely time. Lovely hosts. Delicious food. You can't go wrong. We did make an earlier reservation and although it wasn't quite full when we arrived, by the time we were served our entrees, the restaurant was quite packed for a...

Great atmosphere but food quality can vary. Went one night (Friday 22/11) and had the Schnizel which was very good (and generous).

However went again (Sunday 24/11) and it was awful- the escargots had too much salt but nothing could prepare me for the worst part: a steak tartarw with so much salt that I couldn't finish it. Even now 12 hours later my throat is irritated by the salt.

The waitress did ask why i didnt finish my meal I explained and she just shrugged her shoulders.

I would not recommend this restaurant.

Also the sommelier is very dismissive I tried to ask him for advice on wine pairings twice and he...

+++ Eher Weinbar als Bistro +++ Aufgrund eines Gutscheins haben wir dieses Lokal ausgesucht und zuvor einen Tisch reserviert. Nach der Tischzuweisung hatte ich Platz auf einer Sitzbank genommen. Obwohl Kissen vorhanden waren, hatte ein Holzbalken von hinten in das Gesäß gedrückt. Zudem hatte man am Tisch viel zu niedrig gesessen. Bequem ist also was anderes. Das Lokal hatte sich nach unserer Ankunft sukzessive gefüllt. Zunächst waren aber noch nicht viele Gäste da. Wir hatten beobachtet, dass sich Servicepersonal und Gäste herzlichst empfangen haben. Vermutlich kennt man sich oder ist befreundet, was nicht das Problem ist. Zum Problem wurde es, als die bekannteren Gäste den "neuen", unbekannten Gästen vorgezogen wurden. So hattem wir schon einige Minuten am Platz gesessen, ohne dass man uns nach den Getränken gefragt hatte. Andere Gäste, die nach uns kamen und scheinbar Bekannte waren, hatten ihre Getränke unverzüglich bekommen. Dabei waren genug Servicekräfte da, die nicht den Eindruck gemacht hatten, dass sie sonderlich viel zu tun hatten. Irgendwann hatten wir unsere Getränke und das Essen auch bekommen. Ich hatte die Barbarie Entenbrust, meine Partnerin die Pappardelle Chorizo bestellt. Die Pappardelle war mit den Blick auf den Preis in Ordnung. Die Entenbrust an sich war gut, auch wenn es nur große Stücke waren. Die Haut war knusprig. Der Kern war rosa. Der beigelegte Rotkohl dagegen war ein Reinfall. Es muss sich um fertigen Rotkohl gehandelt haben. Denn richtig guter selbst gemachter Rotkohl schmeckt anders. Hier schwebte die Charakteristik eines Glas-Rotkohls mit. Für den Preis von 25,90 Euro geht das gar nicht. Ansonsten war das Ambiente in Ordnung. Wir kommen nicht wieder.
