The restaurant was opened up out on the street, cause summer! It was nice and airy and the friendly staff left us with a menu with most main dishes costing below 10 euros.
You can pick between wanting a soup or a noodle salad and what kind of meat you want, but you are better off telling the staff the flavour profile you are looking for (spicy, sour, simple etc).
Ordered a Pho Bo (beef and flat noodle soup) , simple light on flavours and a lot of noodle. A bit pricey considering the simplicity, but the complimentary sauces help with that. The Bun Thit Nuong (grilled pork with vermicelli and salad) was definitely more worth its price, with a perfectly spicy , sour and sweet dressed salad. Read moreVery friendly staff. If not them, the place would have got 1 star. The atmosphere is somehow not matching the Vietnamese vibe I feel in other viet-food places. The dining area smells of cleaning solution, the entrance to the toilets is just from the dining area downstairs. The appetiser spring rolls were okay. The sauce was good, the filling was cooked through, the dough was crispy.
The tea is of decent quality...

The guy who took the order cooked the food, which was interesting to see how he managed to cook up all the dishes without skipping a beat and serving the other customers as well. Food quality is very good and ingredients were fresh. The pho wasn't up to standard as the soup base was not quite there. But the other fried food was tasty and delicious. The curries were really spicy and we were used to spicy but this was not on a normal European level of spicy which was surprising. If you are there for a simple meal without much expectations you will have not...
