HUB Apartments - St. Georg — Hotel in Hamburg

Cons: The way from the main station to the hotel is rather intimidating. The area is considered to be the worst one to stay in the city, according to some people, but apart from the way to and from hbf, it was fine. But next time we will choose different neighborhood The hotel was brand new when we arrived and for the first two mornings there was no hot water which was extremely inconvenient. Nothing was offered by the staff to solve this issue or smooth things over Some repair works on the street very early in the morning but not sure if hotel is to blame here

Pros: super fresh new clean room, nice design, cozy view, quiet neighborhood close to the city center and all the main attractions, metro nearby. Very close to the main station there’s a small kitchen space and fridge the price. There was a significant discount because the hotel opened 1-2 days...

St. Georg ist wohl Hamburgs Problemviertel wie ich von Ortsansässigen gehört habe, bei mir ging trotzdem alles gut. Für Druppies in und an der U-Bahn oder bei Lidl kann das Hotel generell auch nichts.

Das Zimmer an sich ist Klasse, hier gibt es nichts zu meckern.

Bei mir gab es Probleme mit der Türkarte, so dass ich abends 10 min die Karte vor den Türöffner am Haupteingang gehalten habe. Als ich am nächsten Tag darauf hinweisen wollte wurde vom Personal gezeigt wie es richtig geht, der Fehler lag natürlich beim doofen Kunden. Also sorry ich bin keine 90 Jahre alt. Vielleicht solltet ihr euer System nachbessern, wenn der Kartenleser nur funktioniert wenn die Karte in einem gewissen Winkel gehalten wird ist es nicht funktionstüchtig.

Dann steht auf allen möglichen Buchungsseiten das es einen privaten Parkplatz gibt, der war aber noch im Bau. Alternative vom Personal: in den umliegenden Straßen (tagsüber 3€/h) ab 22Uhr kostenfrei, außerdem Wohnviertel: viel Spaß bei der Parkplatzsuche :) Anderer Vorschlag: Lidl Parkplatz. Weiß ich nicht digga, weiß ich nicht muss das?

Es gab Baulärm während des Aufenthalts, vielleicht später eröffnen? Schon klar, das möglichst frühe Gewinnmachen ist wichtiger als das Interesse des kleinen Mannes. Ich dachte ich buche ein Hotelzimmer und keine Besichtigung zur Baustelle.

Nun der Grund wieso ich überhaupt hier bin und eine Bewertung schreibe: Nach dem Check Out bekomme ich die Rechnung per Mail. Ja, aber wann denn? Im nächsten Jahr? 2 Mails werden nicht beantwortet, 2 Anrufe ohne Erfolg. Bei jedem anderen Hotel dauert das 5 min.
