Restaurant Konfuzius — Restaurant in Hamburg

We went there for hotpot and it was not as good as we expected. Some of the vegetables were not cleaned well and some parts of cabbages were rotten. There were not enough dumpling options. Grill buffet was better they cooked our food well. We liked the tiramisu as well. Yet, The staff is not friendly and helpful. We couldn’t receive any service from then and at the end one of their waiters ruined our mood. There is a short man with grey hair, he literally threw the coins to our table! Turned his back and left! Moreover he brought us a bill that costed 50 euro. ( hotpot for 2 people must be 40 euros and let’s say 5 euros for a Radler. What happened to that 5 euro?!) we thought he included the tip already as 5 euros. but he acted such a way as if we did something bad to him. So we got a wrong bill with such a rude attitude. Such a disgrace…Never again, as long as they work with people who are this rude and mean...

Mein Mann und ich waren so eben dort essen. Gestern haben wir die Homepage gecheckt. Es wurde folgendes Angebot beschrieben: "All-You-Can-Eat plus Drink plus Mongolischer Grill plus Hotpot" mittags für knapp 18€. Das Misstrauen wuchs, aber auch die Neugier. Unser Fazit: Eigentlich müsste eine anonyme Meldung ans Gesundheitsamt folgen. Aber zunächst Vor- und Nachteile:

Vorteil: Preis Es gibt viel zu beobachten... ;)

Nachteil: Auswahl Qualität Hygiene Es gab weder Hotpot noch mongolischen Grill

Ich startete mit Vorspeisen. Ich dachte mir: mit gegarten Speisen kann man nichts falsch machen. Auf meinem Teller landete Gurken-Sushi (ich verstehe nicht, wie in einem Suhi die Gurke trocken werden kann...), Frühlingsrollen und fritierte Wantan. Nach dem 2. Wantan bekam ich Übelkeit. Um Schlimmeres zu verhindern, flüchtete ich bereits zu den Toiletten. Das war ein Fehler. 2 von 3 Frauentoiletten war aufgrund überquellender Scheisse nicht nutzbar. Bei der 3. Toilette hatte ich Glück. Hätte ich mir nicht die Hände gewaschen, wäre ich sauberer geblieben. Das Firmenlogo des Papierspenders siffte mit gelber Flüssigkeit raus. Auf dem Weg in die Kantine zurück (anders kann man den Raum nicht bezeichnen), standen kistenweise die Getränke rum. Gut, 2. Runde warme Speisen... es landeten je 2 Stücke Hähnchen von jeglicher Mischung auf meinem Teller. Mein Unbewusstsein sträubte sich, auch nur irgendetwas von dem extrem kleinen Buffet aufzunehmen... und zum Schluss das Dessert. Die eingelegten Früchte schmeckten gegoren. Danke dafür!...

The warm food buffet was delicious I must say. It was so good that I took 3 times of the same food.

However, the sushi was not the best. The rice was a bit dry. For the hotpot, the spicy hotpot was not so good. Myself from Asia who eats hotpot often, I can tell that this is not the best. It was too much pepper and too oily that it was hard to enjoy. However, the non spicy one was ok.
