Average food. Terrible service!

Me and my girlfriend were thinking to go to this place for over a year, constantly having something come up and change our plans. In hindsight it probably was a sign to never go there.

We were guidet to our table after which we've been asked if we'd like something to drink. We politely declined because we don't drink alcohol and we didn't want to drink anything else at that moment we were hungry and our intention was to eat and spend an nice evening together. The waitress after that has become quite hostile. We ordered a pasta with shrimps and my girlfriend asked if they had pizza, to which the waitress told us that there are many pizza places down the road.

That was probably the first indication that we should have left but since we were thinking of visiting this place in such a long time we decided that we would like to try the food nonetheless.

When the food arrived we've been asked again if we want something to drink, which again we decline. The waitresses reply was something among the lines: "that's weird but ok". It really gives me the feeling that this lady, if she had the possibility, would pour drinks down your throat and the make you pay for them. My pasta with shrimps was an average dish but not bad while my girlfriend's carbonara tasted like the supermarket one which makes me wonder why the reviews are so high when the food is just below average.

At the end when we paid for the order, we mentioned that the service wasn't to our liking, and we've never heard of such thing as the customer must buy drinks when coming to a restaurant. We've been told that she's not a server and that we are ignorant about the world we live in. Now, I won't claim to be a learned person but waitresses ar waiting tables, and even if the waitress is the the coowner of the restaurant in that context for me as a restaurant client she is still a server, but what do I know...

TLDR: The service is terrible. The food is below average. I'd rather satreve than set foot in that...

Habe von HH bis Umbrien schon hunderte Italiener durch und erlaube mir mal ein Urteil.

Ambiente: Gut, freundlich, drinnen typisch italienisch.

Service: Die osteuropäische Bedienung ist zwar nicht wirklich italia like aber aufmerksam und humorvoll. Käse zur Pasta kam ungefragt. Ein digestivo gratis am Ende.

Toiletten: Top!

Preise: Im unteren Mittelfeld, Antipasti ca. 8-12€, Pasta ca. 10-15€.

Getränke: Die Bierzapfanlage muss mal wieder gereinigt werden (metallischer Nachgeschmack beim Bier, haben aber viele das Problem)

Speisen: Es geht, keine Katastrophe aber hier könnte man wirklich etwas mehr liefern. Vitello Tonnato braucht nicht gleich Karpernäpfel aber ein bisschen weniger Mayo täte dem gut. Tortellini alla Panna an sich ok aber viel zu viel Sahne. Weniger Sahne und die anderen Geschmäcker kommen besser durch und man kann es immernoch gut essen. Pizza gibt es nicht.

Fazit: Für die Lage ganz ok, hier kann man unkompliziert etwas essen. Die Speisen die wir hatten waren allerdings nicht besser zubereitet als wenn wir das selbst machen. Im Großen und Ganzen ein nettes Lokal mit Potential, die Speisen etwas aufzupeppen und damit...

Ein alteingesessenes italienisches Restaurant, für eine eher ältere Kundschaft. Vorweg gibt es etwas Brot inkl. Olivenöl mit Salz und Pfeffer. Wobei das Brot sehr trocken ist und stark nach alter Hefe riecht, nicht wirklich appetitlich. Auf der Speisekarte standen viele Pastagerichte, die aus Sahne bestehen wie bspw. die Carbonara. Die Tagliatelle alla Bolognese hatten auch nichts mit einem traditionellen Ragú alla Bolognese zu tun. Wie die Beschreibung des Gerichts in der Speisekarte sagte eine "Tomatensoße mit Hackfleisch".
