Vietnam Town Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Hamburg

I recently visited Vietnam Town Sushi Bar for the first time, eager to try their Pho, which I often use as a benchmark for Vietnamese restaurants. Overall, my experience was decent but left me wanting a bit more.

The Pho was okay—absolutely fine, but nothing that truly stood out. I've had better at other places. Additionally, I found the prices to be on the higher side, which made the experience feel less justified.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. 6,90€ für eine kleine Kanne Ingwer-Tee. Leider nur ohne Ingwer, lediglich ein Teebeutel. Sehr dreist! Tempura-Sushi bestellt. Die teure Platte wurde kommentarlos hingestellt. War nur nix frittiert. Auf Nachfrage hieß es denn, man hätte kein Tempurateig. Lächerlich. Es lohnte sich wohl noch nicht die Fritteuse anzuwerfen. Die Sushis waren zudem trocken und alt. Auch waren die Noriblätter tlw. der Länge nach durchschnitten??? Zugekauft? Neben uns waren noch 2 Tische besetzt. Die Wantan waren mit ekeligem Knorpelfleisch gefüllt. Auch waren die Suppen lauwarm. Neben einem Koch waren noch 3 Servicekräfte anwesend. Es gab keine Nachfrage, ob alles in Ordnung wäre oder ob wir noch was trinken möchten. Wie gesagt, bei nur 3 besetzten Tischen. Lag wohl daran, das nur 1 Person etwas besser deutsch konnte. Außerdem waren die Toiletten nicht gereinigt. Ich muss nicht erwähnen, welche Haare dort vorzufinden waren. Zu guter letzt hieß es dann in dem fast leeren Lokal, wir wären schon 130 min hier und möchten den Tisch frei machen. Die positiven Posts können wir überhaupt nicht...

Amazing food! The service was really nice and the atmosphere was really nice too, but a bit quite. I strongly suggest the Bunh Bao, the Yakitori and the rice meals are also amazing.
