Dali's Original Stuzzico — Restaurant in Heidelberg

It’s the usually perfect ending to a night out when we go to Stuzzico after having some drinks. The service is amazing, the staff speak Italian, English, German and Arabic so you’re guaranteed some interesting conversations. I usually get the Tonno Pizza, it’s the best of its kind in the area in my opinion. Yesterday I got this Italian desert and it was wonderful (it’s also difficult to find icecream in the winter but they had it!). It’s nice to sit inside when it’s cold, they usually have a good jazz playlist and the atmosphere is pretty romantic, but when the weather is warmer we also like to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the nice view of the Heidelberg Altstadt (and do some passive people watching). Absolutely delicious, better than any pizza I’ve had in the area. I haven’t had any other pizza in the area though. It was way better than the pizza I had on icelandair and that pizza was, all things considered, pretty good. Better than any other airplane food I’ve had. I haven’t had any other airplane food though.

The host was very welcoming, speaked a fair bit of english, and took our orders while we waited for a table to free up. So, we didn’t really experience a wait nor did we need to put a reservation down. For the price, which is pretty good (10€ for a 20cm pizza), the pizza blew me away. Besides from the insipid dough, my biggest disappointment is that the rocket salad on my pizza had sand in it! Very unpleasant when you bite it. I told it to the waiter (maybe he was even the owner) but he didn't seem to care too much. I had to fetch myself the olive oil that I had asked for, as the waiter would not bring it. The cherry on the top was the spicy bill, 27€ for two bad pizzas and two colas (glass not included ofc). Since they were about to close (in... 45 minutes), the waiter didn't bother bringing us a menu. We had to chose quickly from their menu on Google maps, where their prices clearly appeared lower. All in all, a bad pizza brought to you by a bad service. The fact that this place has 4.5 stars...
