We felt Cheated.|Room with no bathroom and relocated to a room in a apartment building 900 meter away with a pub right below with music very load until 5 AM. Loud means that the bass tones transmited the vibration to the furniture. Imposible to sleep.|We have to leave and never got a refund.|We made the reservation through Booking.com.|When we arrived we were ask ro pay up front.|The room did not have bathroom. They said the bathroom was outside the room but It was only for us to use so they can published the room with bathroom. We wanted to leave but we had already paid and they would not refund us.|They offer another room with bathroom 900m away.|We accepted, bad error. It was an apartment building in a very busy and noisy street.|We were right above a pub with extrimely loud music. At 2 AM I went down to ask when they will close and they said around 5 AM.|I went to the original hotel and there was no one.|We have to leave in orden to sleep.|The next day I ask for a refund, but they said that they could not found the key to the room, so no refund.|Booking said that the hotel showed williness to refund but since the key was missing they had the right not to refund.|Charging upfront, misleading information about the bathroom and they know how to deal with Booking marking us as not show, so we could not wright a review, said that they were willing to refund us but could not find the key.|So they did not refund and avoid a bad review.|We felt that we were cheated and they are quite good at...

I’m very sorry I chose this hotel and would not recommend it!

We were in apartments 5 and 7 on Kettengasse 10, which is owned by Sudpfanne but a 6-10 minute walk away down the main shopping street from check in. We also had one room in the main building, and the three together cost over €350 total. Arrived on a cold Monday and checked in at 3.

All three rooms were accessible only by stairs. The room in the main building said it had a private bathroom, but to access it you had to leave your room and cross the hall.

The two rooms at Kettengasse 10 were freezing. It took over five hours and multiple phone calls for them to determine the heater was broken.

Meanwhile our children and elderly parents were freezing until nearly 10pm when it was fixed. While I appreciate the apologies offered, I wish I had been believed at 4pm and not told to wait until after 8pm for someone to check it in person. I also think a partial discount or some compensation should have been offered.

The windows are very cheap. The cold air and street noise come right through. This building needs new double pane windows badly.

Maria was our server and she was welcoming, engaging, friendly and efficient. She made our time at this restaurant even that *more special. I need to add that Maria was working all of the tables by herself and slayed it!

Sudpfanne was so good that we dined here twice in one day, and brought a friend!

For lunch Mr. Wonderful enjoyed the sausage plate with potatoes and sauerkraut. I had the fried bread dumplings, mushroom gravy, with sauerkraut. We were happily fulfilled.

For dinner Mr. Wonderful ordered the schnitzel, our friend ordered the goulash, and I was still full from lunch - so I only had the potato soup. All three of us left, full and happy.

This restaurant is not a touristy. They cater to locals and folks who know where to go! They offer a warm, cozy and welcoming environment. They also offer a beautiful beer garden in the back when...
