Der Postwagen offers a delightful dining experience in Ingolstadt. The ambience is cozy and inviting, with a modern yet relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great spot for both casual outings and special occasions.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. The burger was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with their signature sauces. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with a delicious Gewürzmayo dip that added an extra layer of flavor. It’s evident that the ingredients are fresh and of high quality, contributing to the overall taste and presentation of the dishes.  

The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was pleasant from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations.

The only reason for the 4-star rating is the wait time for our food, which was slightly longer than expected. However, considering the quality and freshness of the meals, it’s understandable and didn’t detract significantly from the overall experience.

Overall, Der Postwagen is a must-visit for burger enthusiasts and anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a comfortable setting. I look forward to returning and trying more of...

We spent an evening here and everything was quite up to our taste.

The ambiance of the place is cozy and quiet - even if there's a full house, you won't feel cramped in, as the tables are placed far apart from each other. Food was nice (best burgers in town so far), especially the buns. They are working with a smashed-like patty, if you like the art, this is definitely a go-to.

Then the cocktails... We are cocktails snobs, and there are quite a few places now in Ingolstadt where you can get a nice glass of a simple, yet perfectly crafted, classic-style drink. The bartenders at Postwagen are definitely taking up the challenge with their creations (I'm looking at you, winter specials of single malt or bourbon, ever so tasty) and combined with the food that they offer, you can't really miss your shot by choosing this place to have a sit-in at.

AMAZING! What an unsuspecting gem in the heart of Ingolstadt. About 20 pages of professionally crafted cocktails and drinks are followed by the most freshly prepared burgers and other delicious street food on the menu. Service is very friendly and attentive, and while it's not the cheapest restaurant around, a visit is well worth every penny and then some. 😋🍔

Update: Service on 15.07.2022 was very chaotic, orders were mixed up and we had to wait 50 minutes for our food. Food was great eventually, but in the meantime the bees diving into our drinks didn't make the waiting any...
