What a lovely location! The view (and thus nature experience) is great - as simple as that. It is located as close as it gets to the Baltic sea. We had our room in the annex building (small castle style). Room was spacious and tastefully appointed. Quiet at night as well as the small road next door is not busy at all. Note: when you book partial sea-view you get no view from your room at all. The only way to see the Baltic sea is to go outside on the Balcony and lean over - not what I perceive as partial sea-view. Service: needs improvement. For a EUR 200+ stay, you would expect a receptionist to be there 24/7 - they do some 8am to 8pm (even though on the day we got there, the "absent" sign was already put out shortly after 7pm. That is just a no-go in this category. Parking: you have to reserve but spaces may still get a bit tight - so suggest to be prepared. Staff attitude in general: not too helpful but very busy by enforcing the tons of rules they impose - there is some sort of do's and dont's label on every other wall (which raises the question what they are trying to tell you). Also, you cannot drive up unload your bags. Parking curbside is the option left but - instead of giving you a hand with the bags - staff tells you that you shall not park for long as the local police would hand out tickest quickly. My suggestion: as the dominant property for tourism in the village, sit down with authorities anc sort it out as so many thousands other properties on this planet do...
