Let me start off by saying this is a review for the hotel part of the Hoepfner Burghof. They also have a restaurant, which you can look up separately here on TripAdvisor. The restaurant is amazing and I will definitely recommend eating there.||||As far as the hotel goes, they do exactly enough to get a passable rating .The rooms are average. The bed is large enough to suit a tall person as myself, but the bedding is too small. Convincing the staff to give me a second piece of bedding (could not get a larger because "STANDARD SIZE ONLY") took 15 minutes. For some reason it also meant they took one of my pillows from the bed as payment.. Congratulations Hoepfner Burghof, you foiled my plan of hiding a 2nd person in my room. That level of mistrust is better served in motel rooms you rent by the hour than in your kind of establishment.||||The shower was tiny and had a plastic shower curtain, which attached itself to you like saran wrap the moment you turned on the shower. This also caused the bathroom to flood within 5 minutes, which I couldn't see until I was done showering thanks to said curtain. Vicious circle.||||The room I was in had poor connection to the WiFi which made it impossible to get any work done. ||||Breakfast adheres to the same principle. Barely passes the bar. Don't touch the eggs after 7.00, as I am sure they leave them there for the remainder of morning breakfast. The selection is nice but its all prepackaged or canned.||||Tables are made at the start of service and not cleaned until afterwards. It is with great reluctance someone was willing to move some dishes around after mentioning it to the staff.||||What saves this place is the restaurant. Look for a full review...

Dear Potential Guests! BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL, THE SERVICE AT THE RECEPTION IS AWFUL! A very rude manager is at the reception. I really hope, that the owner of the hotel will soon recognizes this phenomenon either, and asks her for the simple tng: “SHE IS FOR THE GUESTS… ALWAYS… and If she makes a mistake than she should correct it immediately… and not after she kept the guest waiting for a long time.

Ez az a "szálloda", amit messze el kell kerülni... :-( Ár-érték arányban is nagyon rossz értékelést lehet adni ennek a helynek (a legtöbb hasonló színvonalú szálláshely a városban árban 10-15%-kal ez alatt van, mi egy konferencia miatt, ami a túloldalon volt, foglaltunk itt szállást), de a fő probléma a kiszolgálás milyensége. Nem minden itt dolgozóra jellemző, csak sajnos a legfontosabb személyre: aki a pultnál (recepció) van és fogadja a vendégeket, illetve a kicsekkolásnál elköszön tőlük. Bármilyen apró problémával, amit kértünk tőle (tényleg apróságra gondoljatok, pl. 0,5 liter meleg víz a teához, mivel az nem állt rendelkezésre...), pofavágás és gúnyos mosoly volt a válasz... és nagyon-nagyon lassú reakció... Az i-re a pontot éppen a kicsekkolásnál tette fel, a magát "menedzser"-nek nevező személy... Külön kértünk tőle szállás és ételfogyasztás számlát, ezt az első esetben megtette, majd a másodiknál már egyben nyomtatott számlát. Ezzel nincs is baj, hiszen emberek vagyunk, hibázhatunk. Ezt követően viszont nem akarta korrigálni a hibáját, azt mondta gúnyosan, hogy ha így nem tetszik, jöjjünk vissza később, mert most nem tud ezzel foglalkozni, hiszen a német honfitársai szeretnének kijelentkezni... Végigváratta velünk újra a sort (kb. 30 perc), és utána javította ki a számlát, folyamatos megjegyzések mellett...

Amúgy a szállásról: Vasárnapi érkezésünkkor senki nem volt a recepción, ez egyben az étterem részt is magába foglalja, azaz készüljetek az állandó ételszagra a szálloda területén. A szoba tisztasága közepes volt, a kilátás "érdekes"... látni lehet a szálloda fűtőrendszerét... ezen kívül nem sok mindent... Reggeli ételkínálat a kifizetett árhoz képest nagyon-nagyon szerény... Az asztalokat késve szedik le, tiszta teríték nem mindig van. Aki ebédel/vacsorázik az étteremben, az megfelelő kiszolgálást kap (ez a hely egyetlen érdeme...), mivel az itt dolgozók (pincér, konyha, stb.) nagyon kedves-közvetlen emberek. A magát főnöknek, menedzsernek nevező hölgynek viszont meg kellene tanulnia, hogy itt ki van kiért... Higgyétek el nem extra igényekkel rendelkező emberek vagyunk, de ez a hozzáállás a vendéglátásban megdöbbentő... Szóval a hely: MESSZE KERÜLENDŐ...
