I used to go to this cafe from very early time, right after launching. The coffee tasted always amazing but noticed it has changed. Maybe the bean wasn’t that good only on that day? No idea, one clear thing is, it‘s getting too pricey and i hate to see the „tip“ choice on their card payment. Why why why do you use this card payment service?! You have to choose Tip or Not before you pay, you feel so bad to click No before the staff. But my question is: how can i tip when i haven’t even gotten my coffee yet?! Probably i would not go there again, you pat that price but still feel pressure to tip, and the coffee even doesn’t taste so good any more, no point to go there. It’s truly sad to see when cafes just get in the mood of „being hipster‘s place“ and stop trying...

One of the best cafés in Kiel and one of my absolute favorite places in the city!

They have amazing coffee for a very decent price. Staff is super friendly, always happy (which I know can be hard sometimes) and super helpful.

I personally love the atmosphere of the café. It’s a very lovely place. They also have good WiFi and power outlets. Quite a few people are studying or working there.

Besides amazing tasting coffee in the café, they also sell their own coffee beans, which they roast by themselves. Ask them for help if you’re unsure what to take!

Overall I can highly recommend the impuls Kaffeemanufaktur. You’ll find amazing home roasted coffee and super friendly staff in a lovely place. You won’t regret it! Enjoy...

A very nice place for a coffee. I would have loved to give 5 stars, as the service is very nice and the Espresso is really (!) good. At least the Suke Quto, which I tried.

However, and this is kinda sad, but I was a bit disappointed by the Chemex-filter coffee. Here I had the Kenian Chepsangor Hills. I expected a fruity cup, which Kenian is known for, and which could have been, as it was an american (light-medium) roast. Unfortunately, the coffee was rather bold, and boring tasting. I suspect, the coffee was "burned" due too high temperature while extracting, which caused the loss of complexity...?

Nevertheless, I'd recommend this place and I'd try the coffee a second time, when I'm in Kiel again. It...
