McDonald's — Restaurant in Koblenz

Lots of annoying flies buzzing around you when you eat. I only saw the tables get a quick wipe and no thorough disinfection the whole time I was there (about half an hour). The ordering terminals did not even got wiped or disinfected at all, so bring plenty of hand sanitizer. I don’t think this is unique to this branch though - few are particularly sanitary. Food-wise, it’s McDonald’s, not Haut Cuisine. That said, it was the first I have had in over a year and was expecting a taste sensation, but in the end I wish I had just gone to the bakery opposite. Bei meinem heutigen Besuch war mir sofort klar, daß ich dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuche. Nachdem ich 5 Min. warten musste bis mich jemand bei McCafe bedient hat obwohl man mich schon lange vorher sah hat obwohl beim Restaurant nichts los war, habe ich einen cold brew coffee bestellt. Die Dame (vermutlich die Leiterin, da sie die Einzige war die nur ein weißes Hemd trug) wusste gar nicht welches Getränk ich wollte bis ich es ihr an der Anzeige zeigte. Dann fragte sie mich ob ich das Getränk in 0,3 haben möchte, dabei gibt es dieses nur in 0,4. Sie zeigte mir den kalten Kaffee und roch daran mit der Begründung sie kam erst aus dem Urlaub und wisse nicht ob der Kaffee noch gut sei?! Sie fragte mich welchen Kaffee ich haben möchte und zeigte mir zwei identische Verpackungen. Am Ende erhielt ich einen Kaffee mit zugeschütteter Milch für 3,29 Euro und nun doch in 0,3 da es sonst kein anderes Gefäß gab laut ihrer Aussage! Ich hatte aufgrund des unsauberen Eindrucks des Restaurants und der Tatsache das sie Dame an den Behältnissen roch, um festzustellen ob sie noch gut seien, keine Lust mehr auf einen Kaffee. Aber aufgrund des Preises der bereits vorher gezahlt wurde und meines bald abfahrenden Zuges blieb mir nichts übrig. Auch Toiletten gab es keine, hier muss man die Öffentlichen nutzen und bekommt 0,50 Euro nur angerechnet wenn man nochmal zusätzlich etwas kauft, da mein Kaffee ja bereits bezahlt...

Let's be honest: It is a McDonalds. Of course the food is not top tier. BUT for a McDonalds the food is fresh, hot, and definitely fast. Even when the store is pretty full the staff manages to get you your order fast and in time for you to catch your train. Also, the store is very clean with plenty of seating options. I never thought I would have a favourite McDonalds location but this one is...
