Indian Palace — Restaurant in Leipzig

Excellent location, good interiors and that's it. It is located in best possible spot and therefore they are not really worried about retaining customers since new customers walk in everyday. We chose to eat inside and the entrance is really impressive but the table clothes and plates looked dirty. The waitress was nice and we got food pretty quick but it was absolutely tasteless. The chicken smelled somehow of fish, very likely stored in refrigerator with fish. Worst part was that the chicken tasted like a rubber cube, bland and didn't absorb any spice at all. After the disappointing meal, we waited for almost 30 mins to get the bill. I even walked up once to the bar and requested for bill but no one came. Finally we walked out and saw a guy on door and told him if they wanted to collect the amount. He finally collected the payment and we left highly unsatisfied. This was a very disappointing experience. A group of friends and I wanted to enjoy some Indian food together. One of my friends wanted to try to switch some of the things around on the menu which they were not willing to do. This is really okay if they are not able to do that but the way the guy who took our order talked to my friend was so belittling, rude and inconsiderate. It bothered us all so much how he talked to her and really put a damper on the night. It's okay to say you can't provide a service, it's not okay to treat people with disrespect. It was an expensive meal. I really don't know how great it tasted because I felt so bad for my friend it was hard to enjoy the food. Me and my girlfriend ate their earlier this evening, it's been her first time eating indian food. After ordering the meal, the waitress delivered the food really fast in between 5 Minutes or even less. This been the first time we were wondering if the food can be fresh if you serve it in this short time.

Imagine also, the restaurant was almost empty, maybe 5 or 6 people dinning. The guys sitting infront of us got their meals in a short time too. After we finished our dinner, me and my girlfriend were everything but satisfied with the quality of our meal and the service.

The food wasn't worth the price and the quality wasn't what we wished to expect. Now we both do not feel good anymore and suffer from a stomach-ache. We recommend you not...
