Walking into the Barena restaurant, I and my colleague were greeted with friendliness and brought to our table. The restaurant was not busy, which is surprising considering the fantastic food and outstanding service!

If you visit here, make sure you try the starter, which is an aubergine and egg dip, accompanied with bread and incredibly satisfying and tasty. Our main courses (both typical meat kebabs) were succulent and served with Persian Safran rice and a small salad.

The only thing I would like to have had as well would be some proper Iranian bread, but perhaps when I visit in the future, there will be a bread oven installed to provide this staple of Persian cuisine.
