My partner and I had a quick lunch with 3 starter dishes. We are not vegan but absolutely loved everything. The texture and flavour of the dishes were top notch despite the lack of meat, the iced Vietnamese coffee tasted even better with coconut milk. Everything tasted super fresh and portions were generous.
We accidentally left our bag with a laptop at the restaurant and despite the language barrier the owners kept it for us and made sure the bag was given to the friend who’s helping us out (he made sure we were on the phone to verify). It was supposed to be rice noodles in tamarind ginger sauce with soy chunks, saitan, vegetables and salad. The food tastes very fresh, with lots of interesting flavours, spices and herbs. The staff is friendly, the portions big and prices fair. I can warmly recommend the chicken skewers, the coconut milk soup, the papaya salad and the deep fried banana dessert. I wasn't too fond of the dish called "Cha Cha" - just not my cup of tea.
