Indian Palace Limburg — Restaurant in Limburg an der Lahn

I went with my wife here. The food was fine - Prawns curry was tasty but dal was not good. The main concern we had was with the service. A senior waiter who was drunk & even consumed alcohol while we were having dinner misbehaved with us. We asked about the style (cuisine) of the main course dish and started saying our chef is from Kerala (which was not specified in the menu) so all dishes are Kerala oriented and insisted that I come to the kitchen. Whether he asks every German to check their kitchen. That's rubbish! These types of people don't treat Indian people kindly. He was unprofessional & disrespected us. One star just because of his behaviour. Hope this doesn't repeat with other customers. All the other guys in the restaurant were nice and helpful...

The old man from patiala who pretends as the waiter was aggressive and arrogant. This seems to happen only if he sees Indians! He will shout at you, if you ask about quantity in dishes during group orders. Apart from him all others including the lady who can speak Hindi, but is a German and seems his daughter, is very friendly and sensible.

Be careful if you find this man. Please don't ask him Anything, if you are from India. He will say read the menu card properly. You can't order starters alone. He will ask you to Order everything at a go and read and understand the menu card before ordering.

The food was ok, but this man can make you embarassed and spoil...

One of the best Indian restaurant I have come across in Europe. We arrived just 15 min before closing and they not only let us in but gave time to decide what we would like to order. They are excellent in customer service, they gave extra stuff with out any charge because they sensed we might need it but we forgot to order it.

Very polite and warm staff. Excellent ambience. Food quality is excellent and quantity is generous. If you are Limburg this is one place not to be missed. We had order take away as well and the packing was so good that nothing spilled out after 3 hours of drive and when we ate our food naan was soft as if it was just out...
