While attending a conference, some friends wanted to eat there. Due to medical and religious restrictions, I couldn’t eat anything they served, but to be polite I ordered a soda. The waitress was rude while taking our order, asking about us only to make fun of our answers. It took ten minutes to bring our drinks, then another hour for the food. We even saw the waitress eat her own lunch while we waited. By the time the bill came we were running late, but I needed a receipt for reimbursement. The waitress went to the register to get one (for a single soda), but a few minutes later I had no choice but to leave without it. The next day, a group of conference attendees had plans to eat there, and – wanting to socialize – I decided to join them, but brought my own food. Despite being at a table with eleven other people (I was at a booth, so I wasn’t even using a chair) and my food being stuff they did not serve, I was asked to eat it outside. Shortly after, a waitress came out and told me to go even farther away. It was incredibly embarrassing to be singled out amongst my colleagues, some of whom I hadn’t even met yet. Lazy and intolerant, I don’t think anyone should patronize this restaurant until it makes serious improvements to its...
Read moreFirst visited this restaurant over 40 years ago when employed by Glasurit in the UK. This is my favourite eating house and brewery in Muenster. I have spent many an hour or so tasting the excellent food and most of the beers with friends and colleagues. The owners and staff have always been great to talk to and give excellent friendly service. Have not been able to return since I retired some years ago but love the photos showing the building, food and rustic style of the place. Nice to see the cannon ball in the table, the cheese and matchstick game and the initial carvings in the tables, think mine may be in one of the tables! Thanks to the Mueller family for some...
Read moreWe spent one day in Münster and searched for a place to have something to eat. Pinkus was among them, so we decided to go and try. It was an excellent choice. We had two different dishes; they were both very tasty and just cooked for us. The atmosphere was very good and the staff very kind; one of the waitress, Saskia, spoke fluent Spanisg so she provided us with good guidelines about places to visit and things to eat. We haf two dishes and three Radlers beers. All together was 38€; not expensive at all. In sum, I strongly...
