Premier Inn Mannheim City Centre Hotel — Hotel in Mannheim

Nice area. Alrthough it is so new that the traffic lights don't work which is really unfortunate. Staff was great. Super friendly and helped us out at check-in. To the rooms: Bad soundproofing. I could hear the next door neighbors. My room had a stained chair (white stains) and also a stain on the nightstand that also kinda went toward the curtain? It was a a dark brown / black stain which made me assume something burned there. The room has enough space for the money you pay. Unfortunately, it stays very dark - the decoration doesn't help to brighten it up through the small window. The air in the room and the hallway is not the best. I had my window open for a long time but it's winter and how long can you keep the window open, really? I didn't have heating on but the group I was with turned it on in their room and it sounded really loud.

The absolute plus to this hotel was the bathroom! Seemed brandnew and super clean.

I'd purchased breakfast once in a Premier Inn before in Stuttgart and regretted it then. I shouldn't have purchased it again. There were more options in Mannheim, but still, for 18€ you were left wanting something better to offer at the buffet. The area is a plus, especially the nearby tram station. It's also really less than ten minutes to the city center by foot.

I'd come here again if I really really had to, but I wouldn't add breakfast to my booking. It's an affordable hotel in a city where one night costs your entire stay at this hotel. What...

Ich habe kurzfristig ein Hotel gesucht und mich für das Angebot von Premier Inn entschieden.

Der Preis hat überzeugt, auch wenn natürlich ein günstigerer Preis für eine Einzel Person schick gewesen wäre, statt der mind. Kosten für 2 Personen. Doch dies ist kein Kritikpunkt sondern verständlich da es platztechnisch sinnvoll ist die Zimmer für mind. 2 Personen auszulegen auch wenn Person 2 nicht existiert.

Die Zimmer waren sauber, klar gibt es immer Dinge die einen auffallen, doch im gesamten sah das Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt aus. Es lag auf dem zweiten Bett lediglich zentral eine kleine tote spinne, die mich persönlich nicht gestört hat (schnell entfernt) doch andere Gäste natürlich verschrecken könnte. Ich gehe davon aus, hätte ich dies gemeldet wäre sich darum gekümmert worden, bis auf diesen Fund war das Zimmer gründlich sauber und schön eingerichtet.

Zum Personal kann ich nicht viel sagen, außer das der Empfang im Hotel sehr schnell ging, man freundlich empfangen wurde und 2 Dokumente (Hausregeln + noch was) unterzeichnen sollte. Das es sich um ein Nicht Raucher Hotel handelt würde einen Bonus Stern verdienen. Was ich angenehmer finden würde, wäre es die Dokumente die man unterschreiben soll im Vorfeld digital zugestellt zu bekommen, wo man diese ggf. Sogar schon in gedruckter und unterschriebener Form mitbringen kann. Oder z.m. im Nachgang eine Kopie (digital oder gedrückt) der Dokumente erhält, da je nach Ankunft und folge Terminen hier ein gewisser zeitlicher Druck entstehen kann und man so Dinge unterschreiben könnte die man nicht versteht oder nicht gelesen hat und gerade wenn zusätzliche Gebühren ins Spiel kommen, muss diese Information auch dem Kunden schriftlich vorliegen zum Nachlesen. Dafür wurden fragen schnell beantwortet und das Wechseln von Geld scheinen in Kleingeld wurde schnell und problemlos durchgeführt.

Der Checkout ging genauso schnell, die Karten wurden abgegeben mit der Zimmer Nummer und es wurde einen ein guter Tag gewünscht.

Somit kann ich dieses Hotel sehr weiterempfehlen, es ist funktional und bietet eine erholsame Nacht nach einem anstrengenden Tag.

Einziger Nachteil aktuell, wofür das Hotel nichts kann ist die Anbindung. Die Ampel Richtung Innenstadt (z.b. Louisenpark) war in der Zeit in der ich da war komplett deaktiviert, was eine Überquerung der Straße riskant macht, da leider die Autofahrer hier keine Rücksicht nehmen. Der Weg zum Bahnhof hin ist aktuell eine Baustelle, da hier ein neues Gebäude gebaut wird oder saniert wird, was einen dazu zwingt vom Bahnhof hin oder zurück über die Straße laufen zu müssen. Dies sind leider unschöne Umstände, doch hier kann das Hotel nichts dafür. Es ist anbindungstechnisch...

The hotel room (110) was modern and good except for one aspect. The air conditioning did not cool, and the window could only be opened to a limited extent (the train line is directly in front of it and below is the hotel entrance, so there were constant conversations in front of the door and the smoking area was under the window - the smoke moved into the room). I didn't sleep well because of that.

The breakfast was very good. Since breakfast costs 18 euros, I cannot recommend the hotel for business trips if only the meal allowance (Verpflegungspauschale) is reimbursed, which is much lower.

The entrance and exit to the underground car park are a bit narrow.

The staff was assertive but friendly.
