However, I must honestly say that the desserts were disappointing. The quality and creativity of the main courses did not seem to translate into the desserts. Therefore, I would recommend not trying the desserts and instead focusing on the other dishes. The combination of a first-class wine selection, a charming location in the historic center, and good wine makes it worth a visit. We started off with a glass of local Riesling, recommendation by the waitress, which was one of the best wines we’ve had in a while. The wine in general keeps a high standard and is worth a visit in itself. The food was very nice and especially the chanterelles with potato dumplings - wow!
