Restaurante Enzo&Giovanni — Restaurant in Marburg

I wanted oven baked pasta with cheese, but they only had the item with pork which I don't eat. So the staff recommended modification of two dishes to get me what I wanted. I was happy that instead of having to choose a different item altogether, the restaurant staff offered a solution on their end. It was great customer service. And the food was great. My friends ordered pizza and liked their respective pizzas as well! The location of the restaurant is also pretty nice. It is in the middle of a square surrounded by old buildings and the Rathaus. After many years I enjoyed some pleasant time at this Italian restaurant in the heart of Marburg. The food was very good, especially the freshly made Zabaglione (which is not on the menu). It was excellent!

When suited in the side room of the restaurant one is struggling a little bit with the slightly cold light of the LED's on the ceiling. It's difficult to feel cosy there.

Nevertheless the overall atmosphere is comfortable and the service was friendly and welcoming.

Recommended to everybody, who likes good Italian food; just try to stay in the main room of...

Perhaps this was a one-off, judging by all the other positive reviews. We were quite honestly disappointed with the food and the service. They got our order wrong, after having made us wait over an hour for our dinner. However, they were surprisingly able to replace the dish in under 5 minutes, leaving us wondering why we were made to wait a whole hour.
