Ói FRA (Italian cheese maker) — Restaurant in Munich

Abbiamo avuto una pessima esperienza oggi con Oi Fra. Avevamo organizzato un pranzo importante e ci eravamo accordati per ritirare 6 taglieri questa mattina. L’appuntamento era fissato per le 11, ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato il locale chiuso. Dopo numerose chiamate, ci hanno risposto dicendo che avevano fatto tardi la sera precedente e che i taglieri sarebbero stati pronti alle 12:30. Siamo quindi rimasti fuori ad aspettare, a dicembre, al freddo.

Alle 12:30, ci hanno mandato un messaggio su WhatsApp informandoci che, alla fine, non avrebbero preparato i taglieri e che l’ordine era cancellato. Ci hanno lasciati, quindi, alle 12:30 di domenica (con tutti i negozi chiusi) senza un’alternativa per i nostri ospiti. Da quel momento in poi, hanno smesso di rispondere alle nostre chiamate. Un comportamento estremamente poco professionale. Siamo un gruppo numeroso di italiani e sicuramente non torneremo mai più.

We had a terrible experience today with Oi Fra. We had planned an important lunch and arranged to pick up 6 platters this morning. The agreed pickup time was 11 AM, but when we arrived, the place was closed. After several calls, they finally answered, saying they were late the night before and the platters would be ready by 12:30 PM. So, we waited outside, in December, in the cold.

At 12:30, they sent us a message on WhatsApp saying they wouldn’t be preparing the platters after all and that the order was canceled. They left us, therefore, at 12:30 on a Sunday (with all shops closed) without any alternative for our guests. From that point on, they stopped answering our calls. ÓI FRA is such a gem! The food is on another level – the pinsa, focaccia, and all that fresh cheese… honestly addictive. You can feel the real Italian vibes the second you walk in.

Big love to Manuela and Nezha – they made us feel at home right away, super kind and just radiating great energy 💛

And of course, the famous Italian reviewer in Munich Giuseppe loves the place– he’s basically the #1 fan of this place. Pretty sure he’d move in here if they let him

I love it here! Very authentic food. The taste is amazing and the staff is super friendly too! It‘s quite a small bistro type establishment with only a few seating options and standing desks.

Honorable mention: The bread we got with the starter plate was probably one of the best bread I‘ve gotten at a restaurant haha.

I told my friends about this place already and can only recommend! It can get busy with takeout orders when the sun is out but I don‘t even mind waiting for...
