Went walking around the English Garden and most places were closed. I wanted to try some Wurst before we left to Barcelona. I saw there was an event and ask if this was the place and they told me it was private. Went inside and asked about it and they told me only the outside patio was closed. When asked if we can eat inside since there were some seats available, they told me coldly, no only outside(there was no space outside). We were in Warsaw, Krakow, Berlin, but this was the only place in Europe we didn’t feel welcomed. The Weinbauer a couple of blocks was definitely the warmest place in Munich, go there for true Bavarian Germany...
Read moreI tried here today just right after reading the reviews, and all I can say is LOVELY. It is a small place with a lovely garden, terrace it not open anymore. So just wanted to highlight that if you also go there to try the terrace like me. The communication of the staff is just lovely, I had a chance to ask lot of questions about the place and the menu, they were helpful and super polite. I would totally recommend here if you dont wanna see angry, not helpful at all, poshy waiters and waitresses in the area. Portions were big, beers were bottled and only €3.90. 100%...
Read moreIt is ok, not the best wurst I ever ate, not the French fries, nor the curry sauce. But the location is quite cute. The cabbage salad is not the normal salad that we are used to in Germany, but rather something with carrots, cucumbers, chilies and some herbs. The nuremberger ones was good though. Not sure if I would go there again, maybe if I find myself in the region and hungry, otherwise not...
