We had high hopes for our Mother’s Day lunch at Bono, but the experience was deeply disappointing.
I ordered the matcha latte with strawberry FOAM, which was completely undrinkable. It was watered down, with only strawberry syrup at the bottom, no foam, and undissolved matcha powder floating on top. Please refer to picture.
My husband’s Eggs Benedict arrived cold, and the hollandaise sauce was already hard—like it had been sitting out in the kitchen for a while before it got to our table. Hollandaise looked like scrambled eggs. Please refer to picture.
What shocked me most, though, was the fruit served on the side of my pancakes—it still had a store sticker tag on it, clearly unwashed. I’m pregnant, so eating unwashed fruit is not just unpleasant—it’s a health risk. That level of carelessness in food preparation is unacceptable. We were disgusted after that and couldn’t eat anymore. Again, please refer to picture.

We won’t be returning, especially not when food safety is clearly NOT a...
Read moreI couldn't write because I was angry. I almost never make bad comments, I say it's human nature to make mistakes. But I have to write this comment because this place is clearly racist. We sat at a table, 15 minutes later they came and started putting forks and knives without taking our orders. When we said we weren't going to eat, he went to talk to the other waiters. Because it was 20:30 and we had already eaten and came. When we said this, he said you have to order 4 main courses. Quality places never do such rudeness. Although there was no one in line and it was long past dinner time, he insisted on his request, so we calmly got up and left. There are much better quality cocktail and polite places like Herzog in Munich. Don't even walk past his door to avoid the...
