MON AMI — Restaurant in Munich

Went there for the second time.;

Generally, the music is too loud and the ventilation is too weak. As soon as you enter, the smoke cloud hits you. I get that it’s a shisha bar, but they really should find a better solution for that!

Compared to my first visit (last October, if I’m not mistaken), the service has definitely gone downhill. They were out of black tea — how does that happen when the supermarket is just 50 meters away?

Everyone in our group had to order drinks in addition to the two hookahs and nachos we already ordered — and we were six people! That felt a bit excessive.

I had their open red wine, which honestly tasted like a €2 bottle from the supermarket. One of my friends ordered lemon tea and got two small lemon slices in boiled water. On the bright side, the hot chocolate was lovely.

I’m not a hookah expert, but it was actually better than the two other places I’ve tried in Munich.

If I had written a review after my first visit, I would’ve gone for 4 stars. This time, I’m being generous by giving it 3 stars — and that’s only because of the decent hookah and the...

I've come to this place several times and have been pretty happy with the service to date. I don't plan on ever visiting again because they absolutely don't care about customer loyalty! On Friday night I came in after 1am, ordered drinks and shisha (so at 1.30am when I ordered, no one said anything) only to be told 20 minutes later that they were closing at 2am today instead of 3am (what's written on the door, Google, a bill). I suspect it was a personal whim of a manager because there wasn't much traffic due to the rain and they decided to mistreat the few customers who actually came by. Also, when putting the shisha down from the table, hose touched their not-so-clean floor and the waiter ignored it. Waving to a rather relaxed and reluctant waiter didn't help (even though the place was pretty empty), so I had to come up, ask for another one and put it in myself. Great...

we had a very bad experience in this bar yesterday while we had reservierte for 20:00 but no one told us that this is valid until 22:00 and while everything was fine and the waitress was friendly with us at 21:40 we ordered a second round with cocktail at 21:55 she tells us we have to leave because the table is reserved in a very bad way and she started to collect the glasses and tells us I will put the cocktail in plastic glasses to take them with you.They had to inform us earlier so that we would not order a second round and of course our money was not...
