Chi thu — Restaurant in Munich

Unfortunately very bad experience. I arrived with my cousin there at 21:20 and as we ordered to eat there, the woman asked unpoalitely "schafft ihr das? Wir mach um 22 zu" and said yes. After us there was a line with at least 7 people who also ordered to eat at the place. After 25 min waiting and seeing everybody getting their plate and sitting, I went there to ask about our order. For my surprise our plates were there already waiting for us, getting cold. When asked why our "wireless pager" dint beeped, she said: ohh I think its broken, sorry! We tried!

Come on. The pho soup came with missing herbs.Then while finishing eating she came once saying to me to eat quickly. 2 minutes later she came and took the sauces from the table. I tried to said we were finishing and there was not our fault that the exactly our beeper system dint work. She grab then the sitting banks next us.

I mean really? This rudeness is necessary? Is that comum here?

I mean I know she was tired of the day. But it is all a matter of how you talk and how you deal with...

Such good food! The pho really hit the spot, the crispy chicken was extra crispy, you hear that crunch with every bite while the chicken itself was so juicy! The broths were so flavourful and rich! The banana pudding dessert which was che was so good and not too sweet! Staff definitely know what they’re doing. The decorations were so cute with good ambiance. Authentic Vietnamese stools which added to the experience. The banh mi slapped! The vegan banh mis did not lack any flavour, both the seitan with lemongrass dressing and the tofu with a soya dressing were so good and flavourful. One of the best banh mi’s I’ve had outside of Viet Nam. The chicken pho actually was with chicken broth, which is so rare to find! Most places only use beef broth for all options.

Nice looking place. For foreign people like me, it was a bit difficult to figure out how the order and serving system works but we found it out. (You have to go desk and give and make your order, pay, then you get this alarm device which tells you food is ready). Then of course language caused the other side of the problem. Luckily I know some German so it wasn't that hard but there is no English menu.

The food itself was pretty decent. It was fresh and well made but seasoning was not there for me. To me it was not tasty enough. So, I had to put quite a lot of chili to my food and also some soya sauce. For that reason I give only 3 stars. With adequate seasoning I would have given 4 stars.
