Zephyr Bar — Restaurant in Munich

The only Bar where I had the WORST experience so far. The reasons are endless. Its just too over-priced. Cocktails are okay but there are many other bars in the same area which serve good cocktails at lesser price. Then comes the worst part, if you are two people who want to have a nice time in a Bar, then this is NOT your place because they just want to adjust other people with you in that same tiny bench which is not comfortable for even 2 persons. If you refuse to sit with strangers in the same bench then they bug you again and again asking the same thing. So finally, if you are not ready to adjust, they force you to leave (while you're still drinking the cocktail) as the waiter comes to you and say that he is going to give you the bill now (means you have to leave now) so that other people can sit. I found it extremely disrespectful and humiliating. They really do not value their customers who are already sitting. Also, they do not have control over the people who are in the waiting queue because these people come directly to you where you are sitting and ask if they can sit with you which is so uncomfortable because it feels as if they are constantly looking at you when would you leave. Such a poor management of the Bar! The Bar opens only at 8pm, if they really have so many customers then why not open the Bar maybe at 6pm itself. In addition to all this, they only accept CASH. So overall, I would NEVER recommend this...

One of THE BEST bars in Munich. Don’t let the prices shy you away, drinks are worth every cent! You get to see true craftsmanship at the bar. The staff has been working there for years and you can taste their talent and hard work because those drinks are absolutely delicious. It’s a busy place, but great to mix with the locals and have a lovely evening as a group or by yourself. Don’t forget to tip - it is well deserved! Owners are very friendly. Had some interesting and creative ideas during the lockdowns to keep themselves afloat. Weekends are obviously the busiest, if you want to grab a good drink after a hard day at work and relax, this is your place. 10/10...
