Coffee Twins - Specialty coffee — Restaurant in Munich

I happened to be out and about in the neighbourhood and discovered Coffee Twins and have to say that the Espresso Macchiato Dopio really tasted like it looks in the picture: delicious!

If the weather is good, you can also sit outside.

The prices are absolutely ok.

And by the way, the name says it all: there really are two boys, twins, who run this little café.

The selection ranges from espresso to flat white to filter coffee, etc.

Delicious homemade biscuits and cinnamon buns are also available.

I can only recommend this small but...

One of the best and rather unique specialty coffee shops in Munich.

The twins are very friendly and overall amazing host. They bake all the pastries themselves, however, that's not the only distinguishing feature of this coffee shop.

The best part, in my opinion, is the fact that they have many roasts available and you can choose which one you want for your coffee. This is the only place in Munich where I have encountered this and I wish more places took up this fantastic practice.

These guys made me an oat milk flat white one day after I asked for their recommendation. Now that's all I drink, even at home.

A word on their cinnamon knots... to die for! If you get one fresh out of the oven, you may have a mouth-gasm.

The quality of the coffee and food is, however, simply a reflection on the twins themselves. Totally rare in Munich to get the kind of customer service, attention to detail and friendliness in a cafe. They appreciate you as a customer and I value their...
