Crêperie Bernard & Bernard — Restaurant in Munich

When making a reservation for 8 people, they asked if we would eat and drink and I said yes. At the restaurant, we all ordered drinks and at least one crepe. I actually ordered my dessert crepe first and was planning to order a salty crepe later. Thr waiter comes back to inform us that we did not order enough and that we need to leave the restaurant - they had assumed we would all order a full dinner and then maybe a dessert crepe.

If you are a creperie, it should be enough that we each order minimum one crepe. Otherwise clearly tell the people making reservations that there is a minimum spending limit.

We ended up going to another restaurant nearby and each ordering drinks and a full dinner ;)

I have never been kicked out of a restaurant. Really inappropriate. In addition, they asked if anyone in our group speaks French - we did have one French-speaking person, but how is that relevant in a restaurant in Germany. Strange place with rude service, I can’t...

Of course a crêperie is not a high-decorated Michelin restaurant, but at Bernard & Bernard the atmosphere is just enjoyoable. The choice of crêpes and galettes is just delious. Also the vine card is good. Price - quality is fair. It is a good spot for a relaxed time. Cozy Crêperie with authentic and high variety crêpes and galettes, lovely dinner alternative compared to the "usual" options.

The attentive staff, as well as the majority of the customers were french, further affirming the authenticity of this restaurant.

The only slight disappointment were the overpriced shrimps starters. They were well-made and tasted good, but we paid 15€ for meager 3 shrimps, avocado...
