Heard a lot about the restaurant but never been myself. Finally yesterday had a chance to visit the spot and try the menu myself . I like the vibe and interior design in general, the service is very attentive, besides one situation I had that I’ll describe later, amazing wine suggestions.

You can order only the whole menu, which is five courses and one additional course - fish carpaccio which was exceptional quality where the dressing is not too sour as you would expect. We loved the balanced flavours. The carrot course is so simple, yet sophisticated.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to people with intolerances and dietary restrictions. I made sure the staff knows about my celiac disease. When I asked one of the waiters if by any chance my potato dumpling contained gluten (since it looked exactly the same as my dinner date’s: potato dumpling which is flour based with bread crumble on top) - the answer was: “Yes, of course there is gluten, you just move it away and continue eating all the rest”😅. Highly unprofessional and probably only because of this situation I wouldn’t come back again.

I must say I visited most of the fine dining spots in Munich and have never encountered an attitude even close to this.

But I’m being very realistic and it has nothing to do with the amazing food we had on...

Ambitioniert, ambitioniert.

The meal I enjoyed here skyrocketed to the top of my ‘best ever’ list. Often with a tasting menu there is one bite or course that you could have done without… but that wasn’t the case here. Everything was amazing, start to finish. Quality ingredients, innovative preparation, beautiful presentation. The meal was well timed, service on point, concise but perfect drink menu, cozy ambiance. My only complaint is this place is a few thousand miles away from home. When I make it back to Munich, I will return here- until then I will just fondly think of this meal with a gentle smile. The perfect end to a...

Braune Butter rocks. ;)
