The tavern!!! Great place to eat greek food in Munich, near the hilton hotel. Went there twice: the servings were so abundant and good we for sure had to come back for dinner on the day of my gf’s birthday. I had a mousaka both times, some other nice dishes are the gyros and the grilled squid. The appetizers featuring goat and sheep cheese are great too, but again, beware of the huge dishes! Many (like the mousaka) also come with 4 pieces of pita bread, tsatsiki (kinda greek yogurt with pickles etc, tasty) and a bit of coleslaw (i think?) salad. The owner is a charming old man who had his mate sing my gf some greek happy birthday song, playing along with a guitar. He also wouldn’t let us pay for a coffe cup + baklava (birthday) cake she and her mum had😅 so we chose to leave a nice tip instead. Prices are fine too, with all dishes somewhere between 10-20€. 100% would come back if I’m around...

A gentleman was playing the guitar and singing Greek songs, which made the experience even more unique. The owner was always checking that we were well-fed, and came to speak to us in different occasions. If I could, I would give this restaurant a 10 out of 5. It is just a shame that I don't live in Munich and cannot come more often because it would definitely be my favourite...
