Main course didn't really amaze me, but there wasn't anything to complain about. Dessert however was awesome, very large portion too (tiramisu). It is a cool looking place. The furniture, the bar, the toilet... everything is neatly designed. It has a very nice terrace too. Service is good, waiters are cheerful, helpful and polite. One negative thing is that they have a weird reservation policy. Definitely reserve beforehand. We came in for lunch without reservation (2 persons) at 3pm and there was more than half free tables (all reserved).Waiters offered us a small table crammed next to the entrance. We asked if we could be seated at the terrace which we were declined. For the next 1.5hrs just a few parties arrived in the restaurant and none were seated at the terrace. We also watched couple of parties get declined for not having reservations. Definitely strange, there was a lot of empty space in the restaurant and they still declined customers. Also they wouldn't reseat us, but during the time we spent there, no one else occupied not even one of all the empty tables at the terrace.

Edit: Since my review I visited twice, the food unfortunately is quite mediocre... There's so much room for improvement. The pasta with crab meat costs 35 euros (that's a price of an expensive beef fillet) had little to none crab meat. The ragu is very oiley. The truffle pasta is still mostly mushroom pasta, the truffle is barely a hint. Overall I would probably not come back. The design isn't enough to convince me to return. Food: Overall delicious but not as wow as expected, when I saw the menu online I expected to be wowed a bit more. The truffle pasta that was supposed to be the star of the show tasted more like porcini pasta and the Mascarpone (if I recall correctly) overpowered the truffle taste. The pasta itself was great! The Arancini was also delicious but could be paired with fresh sauce to balance the fried food factor. Service: Unfortunately I was not wowed here either, it took quite a while to get a waiter to our table, twice a server dropped/broke something around, overall quite chaotic. But it didn't affect and I didn't deduct a star because of it. Atmosphere: Absolutely top! The design of the place is unusually fun and gives an unfamiliar vibe, I think this is what I liked the most! A weird flowery design that would absolutely be horrendous if done lightly, but when done heavily it created a pleasure to the eyes 👀 I would definitely return again to try the pizzas which we did not try yet and I hope they improve with time.

Excellent, original italian cousine and great atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated lavishly and is very colorful, it's definitely an eye catcher. The food was fantastic and authentic, with classic italian-style pizzas, freshly cooked, traditional pasta recipes and a wide selection deserts and drinks. Menus are available via QR code straight to your phone and are translated into German, English and Italian. Another highlight from the restaurant is how seamless it is to pay: In addition to paying with the waiter you can scan the QR code from your table (each table has a unique QR code) and you can pay your bill with your phone instantly, no registration or download required (they use the Sundayapp, definitely a best practice in the industry). Very modern and sleek. Definitely book in advance as the place is super popular and the likelihood of getting a table by just showing up is slim to none. Considering all aspects from our experience, I'd definitely say it deserves all the hype. 5/5 stars, I'd even go as far as saying one of the top 10 restaurants in Munich.
