Really great local bar! The Hopfenbohne coffee stout is a (medium brown, not black) throwback to the "higher alcohol" definition of stout about 2 centuries ago. Very nice and present coffee flavor! Sidekick is fantastic and not as cloyingly sweet as I'd expect from most 9% beers. Beste Bierbar weit und breit - immer wieder gerne!

Das Konzept ist einfach: 14 Zapfhähne, die an Fässern frischen, leckeren Bieres hängen. Dazu Craft-Bier-Tastings.

Das Personal weiß, was es tut, und es tut es gerne und gut - tolle Truppe. Blickig, blitzschnell, freundlich.

Das gastronomische Angebot ist überschaubar und auf den Verzehr gemeinsam mit Bier optimiert: Currywurst und Pommes sowie diverse Bar-Snacks (die Habañero-Tortillas sind übrigens nichts für Kinder jedweden Alters, aber schmackhaft).

Die Preise sind moderat - Handwerk hat halt seinen Preis. Aber mit €4,10 für 0,5 l (Anfang März 2022) ist das günstigste Bier (Craft!) immer noch günstiger als die Industrieplörre in der typischen Touristenabsteige.

Womit wir beim Publikum wären: eine gesunde Mischung aus Stammgästen, Laufkundschaft und Craft-Bier-Experten (tatsächlich oder selbsternannt). Die Stimmung ist immer gut.

Kurz und knapp, ein Dorado für Freunde gepflegten Craft-Biers. Das wechselnde Angebot lässt Langeweile nicht aufkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert, immer wieder.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff! We might have had a day with low pressurization and some off glass but most of the rotating taps were below average to our beer palates.
