Gspusi - Klara — Restaurant in Munich

Until now I was not aware that there is such a thing as fine Bavarian cuisine, but Gspusi - Klara proves that it is possible. It is our new favorite place in the area - all the dishes we tried so far are putting a creative twist on well-known classics and have all been delicious. Our current favorites are the Backhendl and the vegetable Tempura. Yes, the prices are a bit higher than at your typical Gastwirtschaft, but are justified by their quality.

Absolutely the best cut of meat I've had that I can remember! After a night of fun in Marienplatz I headed back my Airbnb but remembered that I should probably get a bite to eat. Not seeing many options close by on Maps I sauntered over to Gspusi and ordered a steak; rare as one should. What a delight. The cut was entirely succulent and tender, I can still taste and feel the texture of the steak. It'll be many a moon that I'll remember just how good that cut was. -- der Schweinsbraten mit Knödel: merkwürdiger Geschmack vom Braten, irgendein Gewürz was überhaupt nicht passte, Fleischqualität mittel gut - Knödel war eine runde, kartoffelartige klebrige Masse aber keinesfalls ein Knödel - Krautsalat ziemlich hart und sehr sauer.

-- das Essen war wieder lauwarm

-- Kinderstuhl mittlerweile vorhanden, mussten diesen jedoch erstmal abwischen, weil er sehr schmuddelig war.

Sorry, aber die zweite Chance leider auch verpasst; ob ich nochmal wiederkomme, ist fraglich. Das nette Personal reicht da leider nicht aus, wenn die Qualität nicht passt. Manches ist sicher Geschmackssache, aber es geht auf jeden Fall besser.

sehr freundliches Personal, Preisklasse für Essen und Trinken eher höherpreisig, Qualität wurde (bei mir) dem Preis LEIDER nicht gerecht, ein Wiener Schnitzel (konnte man unter der dunkel gebratenen Panade nur erahnen) hat nach nix geschmeckt, mit 4 (leider kalten) Kartoffeln aus meiner Sicht zu teuer, auf das Essen mussten wir doch recht lange warten, obwohl das Lokal überschaubar besetzt war. Die Preiselbeeren waren geschmacklich noch das beste, sorry to say. Also liebe Gastronomen: Ihr seid total nett und gebt euch sichtlich Mühe, aber es war für mich leider nix.
