Badshah - indisches Restaurant — Restaurant in Munich

I ordered Butter Chicken, Garlic naan and samosas per Lieferando. The total was only €21, and it was more than enough for two adult men to eat. The butter chicken was perfect. The chicken breast pieces were soft and juicy and fresh. The sauce was soooo flavorful and just a tiny bit spicy. Sometimes butter chicken is so sweet, but this one had only a light hint of sweetness. I love Indian food, and I have to say, this was the best butter chicken I ever had in Munich. The garlic naan was chewy and flavorful. Just what you would expect. The samosas were so interesting. The potatoes inside were a bit mashed (which I loved) and I could obviously see peas and herbs and spices inside. The samosas are enormous! Definitely the size of an adult fist. They were so light and flaky on the outside, perfectly creamy and well seasoned on the inside. Bravo Badshah. What an impressive Indian restaurant! I can’t wait to dine in and try other...

Hello everyone , I couldn’t resist to write a review about Badshah Indian restaurant in Munich. We went yesterday with recommendation of one of the indian friends and following some google reviews. It was the best dinner we have till date in Munich 😋😊. We ordered Dal tadka and kadhai Paneer. Interestingly both items are not in the Menu Card. However they prepare the dishes based on the availability of the material. Initially we doubted as it was not part of Menu but they proved us wrong by preparing the sumptuous dishes. Haben uns heute Essen nachhause bestellt und aus Versehen, die alte Hausnummer angegeben. Das ist natürlich unsere Schuld und nicht die des Lieferers, jedoch war die Art und Weise wie er damit umging ziemlich unprofessionell. Er rief an und als ich annahm brach er lediglich das Wort "Lieferung" hervor. Als ich antwortete, legte er ohne Kommentar sofort auf. Ich öffnete also die Tür und stellte aber fest, dass da niemand stand. Wenige Minuten später kam ein erneuter Anruf: "Welcher Stock". Ich erklärte, dass er womöglich bei der falschen Hausnummer sei, worauf er mir auf Englisch antwortete, dass er kein Deutsch spräche. (Natürlich kein Problem für mich, aber gerade bei Kundenkontakt wäre es vielleicht von Vorteil, wenn das deutsche Vokabular etwas ausgebauter wäre.) Ich nannte ihn die richtige Hausnummer und darauf legte er wieder sofort auf ohne weiteren Kommentar. 15 Minuten später klopfte es plötzlich an der Tür und ein sehr genervter Mann übergab mir unser Essen. Wie schon gesagt, ist es unsere Schuld, wenn wir die falsche Hausnummer nennen und ich verstehe auch, dass der Mann unter Zeitdruck steht und es für ihn nicht optimal verlief. Trotzdem ist es in meinen Augen respektlos einfach das Gespräch zu beenden und sich am Telefon weder vorzustellen noch zu verabschieden. Das Essen hingegen war jedoch noch sehr frisch und warm. Hat auch sehr intensiv und lecker geschmeckt. Bestellen würden wir also wieder, aber nächstes Mal hoffentlich ohne Komplikationen bei der Lieferung und etwas mehr Sympathie von Seiten...
