The guy in the front who seemed like the owner loves to treat his customers like he's doing them a favor by serving them. Over priced tacky restaurant thinking they're fine dine. He literally laughed when my wife and I ordered 1 drink because she didn't feel like having anything. Don't waste your money and go anywhere else. When I asked if it was halal his exact words were the box says halal but I'm not sure.
They don't accept credit cards only cash probably scamming for taxes as well.
Watch him justify this i wish I recorded the interaction as we went back and forth over his nonsense.
So let's respond to his ridiculous responses one by one. We were 2 adults and 1 toddler who ordered 1 main 1 appetizer and 1 drink because we had already eaten. Somehow this restaurant was the only place in all of munich that we ate at that had a problem with us ordering one main because we kept eating throughout the day and just wanted some halal meat for our son. This money hungry owner who is desperate to sell as 90% of his restaurant was empty and he chose to sit with friends while we were the only customers inside. There seems to be common pattern which I wish we had read prior to coming to this foolish man's restaurant. He has no sense of customer service and zero respect for his customers. I won't even complain about the small portions as he's oblivious that he runs a fine dine. We did buy one coke because that's all we needed. There has been zero adamance about individual requirements anywhere we went but somehow this one individual is the only issue. Let's move to the water. Yes my wife did take out her bottle from her bag to have her medicine. He was notified my wife was pregnant but who cares as long as this money hungry man sells an over priced water bottle. He even lied when we asked if he was the owner. He snatched the money from the table to cover his bill.
I agree with multiple people who left reviews. This man is absolutely racist towards anyone other then Germans because he needs to fit in. He ignores you on purpose acting like he's busy. Even though there were zero other customers.
The guy working in the back was rhe only one concerned I wish I asked for his name but he didn't speak english.
He says we should have gotten up and left. For the record he would rather choose people to leave and doing everything he did then learn to be respectful.
You're right you can't make all your customers happy but maybe instead of buying fake reviews make the real customers happy.
Stop scamming the German government with your tax evasion. Nobody does cash only at a restaurants it's not a 3rd world country my friend.

We were two Indian guys who had gone to this restaurant. When we entered in, half the restaurant was empty & it remained so for all our stay. There were no "reserved" signs on the empty tables. Yet, as soon as we asked for a table, the owner went pretending to check if any tables are available. While we stood there waiting, a German couple came along. He spoke to them in German but I could understand everything he said. They had no reservation but he immediately got them a two-seater table in a nice place in the restaurant. Then two minutes later of searching, he gave us a place in a corner. It was a large table already occupied by two people. We stuck along to see how much he could stoop too.
We had our dinner & I went over to pay since we were having a hard time to call him. The waiter kept coming around & walking back pretending to not see.
I gave him my card & he asked if it was Girocard. The owner piled on to ask that only German cards are accepted. I told yes that it was a Girocard & German. From his expression, I guess that he did not expect it. He probably was thinking that we were some guys who just came fresh off the boat from India or so. I also paid the waiter a tip in cash, though he didn't deserve any. This was my way of showing him that we are better than them!
But overall, it was not a pleasant experience & I wouldn't visit this place again even if this is the only place open in Munich.

So, I call the restaurant on Elvirastraße for a possible reservation for the evening and the not-so-gentleman on the phone does not even bother greeting or ask how he can help. His response and I quote "Hello, yes, tell me.."
I ignore that and follow up asking if i could have a reservation for this evening. He asks me what time. So I say, "I guess around 9". To which his response was, "This is not a side(or some other similar sounding word) restaurant, you can't give me a guess of your time". I was flabbergasted with this amazing response! So I continue, saying at 9pm. He says, "How many people?". To which I answer 4.
His response, "Okay, I cant hear you. Hello, hello!" and then he just hangs up on me. I call them back three times and they dont bother to take the calls.
