Höflinger Café & Bäckerei — Restaurant in Munich

I recently visited Cafe Höflinger and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and comfy seating that makes you want to settle in for hours.

The staff members, especially a guy named “Nouman“ was very friendly and helpful. He was very attentive, and the service he gave me was so quick despite the busy rush.

I tried their Coffee and Carrot Cake. The coffee was rich and full of flavor—definitely one of the best cups I've had in a while. The pastry was perfectly baked, fresh, not too sweet, and paired well with my drink.

I appreciate how Cafe Höflinger strikes a balance between a relaxing spot to unwind and a place that offers high-quality food and beverages. Definitely coming...

Wo soll ich anfangen? Insgesamt war das Essen nicht schlecht, allerdings war ich bereit einige Male hier und fast jedes Gericht beinhaltet Balsamico. Natürlich kann man es abbestellen, allerdings wäre etwas Vielfalt bei den Gerichten auch nett gewesen. Der Cappuccino sah nicht gut aus und ich rede nicht davon, dass mir keine Blume oder Herzchen gezeichnet wurde, sondern es sah einfach abgestanden aus? Ich kann es ehrlich gesagt nicht beschreiben. Leider wechselt das Personal ständig, ich weiß nicht ob es so viele Angestellte hier gibt oder die Anderen schon weg sind. Von dem jetzigen Personal kann ich nur sagen, dass keiner eine Ahnung von dem Job hat. Ich verstehe, dass Service nicht immer einfach ist, allerdings war das Café fast leer und wir haben mind. 10 Minuten gewartet auf unsere Bestellung - man könnte zumindest den Cappuccino schon mal bringen - und selbst dann mussten wir selbst nochmals nachfragen. Das Personal meinte, es wollte alles gleichzeitig rausbringen… Andere Gäste saßen ebenfalls warten an ihren Plätzen.. Die Maschine für den Orangensaft war anscheinend auch defekt, was wir dann nach 20 Minuten erfahren haben. Bei 3 Mitarbeitern verstehe ich nicht, wie es so lange dauern kann, überhaupt einen Cappuccino zu bringen. Außerdem sah einer auch etwas ungepflegt aus? Ich weiß nicht wie ich es beschreiben soll, aber warum muss man während dem Service eine Mütze tragen, einen dicken Pulli und darunter noch ein langes Gewand bzw. könnte man zumindest die Mütze ausziehen und eine Schürze über den Pullover.. - aber das ist eventuell schon „Meckern auf hohem Niveau“.

Been there only once so far. Self-service. The inside looks good, the interior design is eye pleasing. Asked for the menu, tried to order two drinks listed (ice-coffee and ice-tea) - both not available. What for the menu then? 4 people behind the counter, completely overwhelmed with taking orders and preparing them. Tip for the owner: putting signs with names of the cakes might help customers and speed up things, as staff not able to name all the available cakes 🤷 Will give it one more chance at...
