Me and my boyfriend were here last night. We reserved a table early and the waiter who showed us to our table was very chatty and told us about the evening menu deal, he was just generally nice and friendly. The evening menu was a good deal, you pay 7,50 on top of the burger price and get chips and a cocktail with it. I chose a berry mojito which was lovely and a good size!
The burger menu was great! I've been a vegetarian for over a year now but still crave meat so sometimes it's a little disappointing when there's only one veggie option, the predictable bean burger TS. But Hans im Glück had nearly ten! I went for the Dreikäsehoch - sucker for gorgonzola! The burger itself was a made from olives and tomatoes, something I'd not tried before and it was really tasty! A proper get-stuck-in, messy, juicy burger with a really good burger sauce. My boyfriend went classic bacon and cheese and said it was one of the best burgers he'd ever had. They also had sauces on the table for extra flavour, including some roast onions, yummy. They garlic mayo one was really good and went great on the chips. The decor was very cool. A bit like a funky forest! I loved the menus, they felt like a child's story book. Even though they've got a good size restaurant, I would recommend booking a table as it seems like it's always busy in the evenings. There's a few tables out the back which I will sit at next time, it got quite hot inside!
The service was fine. The waitress was attentive. She noticed when I was looking in the drinks menu and came to ask if I needed anything else etc. This service was a little slower when we wanted the bill but that's to be expected at dinner rush hour. After we'd caught her eye however, we'd paid within a couple minutes.
If I were to say anything negative, it would be the toilets needed a bit more care. It might've been they just didn't have time whilst we were there, but they definitely needed a...
Read moreThe bestest burger I have had in Germany till now. The place has a very beautiful ambiance and top of that large variety of burgers for vegan and vegetarian burgers separately that I have never come across anywhere. Also, all the different ingredients of burgers in vegetarian and vegan is just very tempting and out of the box combination of ingredients which would make someone think twice which one to choose. I tried the burger with multi seed bread and olive patty called Abendrot. Just mind blowing and super super yummy. I also tried beer which surprisingly I could finish it off as it was not bitter. Its called wheat beer very tasty especially for people who don't like beer in general due to its bitter taste should try this one out. Its a value for money place. A perfect place to go out with friends or family. Highly recommended if...
Read more"Hip" burger joint with a menu and decor that reflects that name. The atmosphere is cool with lots of natural feeling design choices. Lots of interesting, some rather strange, choices of burgers. Had a pretty standard cheeseburger with parmesan and bacon.
Burger was fine; not particularly special and pretty ok. The fries were also OK, though more seasoning would be a good thing. The choice of sauce for dipping is big but all of them are also a bit strange; the ketchup is a bit off, the white mayonnaise based sauce is the same way, etc.
Would not recommend for the expensive price. Despite the pretty cool atmosphere, the food options are limited pretty standard burger, meh fries and...
