We went to the restaurant as two people and ordered 2 different kinds of wine along with the lasagna. Lasagna was average but red wines were very good. One of the main problems is that you only have a reservation that lasts 2 hours. The waiter who took care of us could not find the wine menu at first, then stated that it was missing and brought a new menu. The price per wine glass is €6.50 so it's a bit overpriced. The wine order was taken by two different waiters, the waiter who took care of us said that she was not told what we ordered and we had to tell her again. At the end of the day, lasagna (16€) and a glass of wine (6.50€) should have cost 22.50€ in total, but we paid 30€ per person with tip. Unfortunately, we realized this situation later, that is, due to the lack of communication of the waiters, we were asked for a bill as if we drank two glasses of wine, but we only drank one glass. The service is really bad in this sense and it is really difficult to hear each other when talking because it is so noisy inside. Tables are also very close to each other. We wanted to ignore the bad reviews and go, but we had to take it into consideration. Since the reservation time was limited to 2 hours, after we finished our meal, the waiter brought us a dessert menu even though we did not want it, and when we did not want to order dessert, she asked us if we would like to drink anything else. After all this insistence, we wanted to pay the bill and leave...

I’ve been to Supernova Bar & Trattoria multiple times, unfortunately due to work, and each visit has been a disaster. This time crossed the line.
I have a serious allergy and I clearly told the staff what not to include. Guess what shows up on the plate? Exactly what I said to leave out. That alone is enough to never go back—they don’t listen, don’t care, and put people at risk.
The poached eggs I ordered came out hard-boiled and chalky—totally wrong. The food was ridiculously salty, and the bread? Like chewing a salt lick. Apparently from some trendy brand that’s all style, no substance.
I’ve had messed-up orders here before, so this isn’t a one-off. Requests are ignored, cooking is amateurish, and if you’re not a loud Instagram type, don’t expect decent service. The staff carries themselves with an air of smug superiority—as if they’re doing you a favor by letting you dine there. It’s the kind of pretentious vibe that mistakes attitude for authenticity, with some clearly mistaking aloofness for charm.
The vibe is all ugly plates, awkward furniture, overpriced dishes—and zero actual care in what they serve. You’re rushed in and out, overcharged, and left wondering why anyone likes this place.
I rarely leave reviews, but this is more than bad food—it’s dangerous negligence, dressed up as a “cool” restaurant. I wouldn’t send anyone here, not...
Read moreLast night, I had the pleasure of dining at the Supernova, an Italian gem nestled in the heart of Munich. From the moment I stepped in, I was warmly greeted, and the warm hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Let's talk about the food—it was amazing. Each dish tasted good, but the starters truly stole the spotlight. The combination of Olives and Parmigiano with olive oil was a symphony of flavors, while the Potato with Truffle was a heavenly indulgence that left me craving more. And let's not forget the Negroni Sbagliato in the end—it was a revelation, easily ranking among the best I've ever had.
While my experience was overwhelmingly positive, I feel compelled to mention one small detail that slightly detracted from the otherwise flawless ambiance—the presence of artificial flowers as decorations. While I understand the desire to enhance the atmosphere, I believe that opting for real or alternative, eco-friendly decorations would better align with the restaurant's commitment to excellence.
Overall, Supernova is a culinary delight that exceeded my expectations in every way. With its delectable cuisine, gracious service, and charming ambiance, it's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Italy in Munich.
Big thanks to Fjolla and Kreshnik for inviting me to join them for dinner on Valentine's Day—I had a blast...
