Tangcubi Asia Fusion — Restaurant in Munich

I would have given this place 5 stars had it not been for the attitude of the waitress. Nice place with nice decor and a fancy looking menu. The prices are a bit high for what you get, specially the starters. The mains are reasonably priced and portions are generous.

The papaya salad was very well presented in a cracker bowl but lacked the heat or the punch I love about this salad. The Pho on the other hand the best I have had in a long time. Beautiful broth, perfectly cooked noodles and tender beef. Absolutely loved it and drank the bowl clean :-)

The waitress we had was a bit grumpy and got grumpier when we sent something back as it was too spicy for one of our group. We had requested non spicy but their understanding of non spicy was different to ours. In any case they did change the dish for a non spicy one and that was nice of them.

Very bad service! One of the worst I've encounter in munich.... I almost walk out of the restaurant even after ordering the food.

Attitude of the waitress was very bad.

One of the asian waitress couldn't speak English (I can accept this) guess they r students? So I use my limited German point and order "ein"

Later came back to tell me every fish dish is sold out, every soup is sold out, and only have curry-every thing...

All while speaking german...

And before our food are finish, they came back 3 times trying to clear our plates... I've to almost snatch it back! And told them we are not finish.... It was only 9ish, and customers around, I really don't know what's the rush...

Anyway, bad service happens, so it's just a never to return again for me... Maybe I went on a wrong day...

Very nicely decorated with modern Asian/viet theme. We ordered 2 pho vietnam and 1 stir fry pho (pho xao Ha Noi). Quickly found out it’s northern style pho and I loved it. The broth was so beefy and yummy. The bowl looks small but it’s deep so it had plenty of noodles to fill you.

My stir fry pho was not what I expected but it was delicious. I thought it would be a bowl of pho with stir fry meats. Instead, the noodles were stir fried and the portion was huge. More like a family entree to share not for an individual but I finished.
